Day 1: Arrival in Kilimanjaro - Arusha
Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport - Arusha
Upon arrival into Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our driver guide and transferred to The African Tulip Hotel.

Day 2: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, depart with a picnic lunch to Tarangire National Park. Famous for having one of the highest elephant populations in Tanzania, it is also abundant with other wildlife, including gazelles, wildebeest, zebra and giraffe which flock to the bush plains in search of food before the rainy season starts.
Enjoy a safari until sunset for a chance to spot these majestic animals.

Day 3: Tarangire - Lake Manyara National Park - Karatu
After breakfast, head to Lake Manyara for another safari until sunset. When you approach it from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water forest, monkeys leap from branch to branch, and on the escarpment, elephants stand in the shade.

Day 4: Karatu - Serengeti National Park
Leaving Lake Manyara behind, journey northwest across the stunning hilly countryside past wheat and coffee plantations towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. From here lie the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park - one of the most renowned wildlife conservation areas in the world and home to the Big Five.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast then set off to explore the park on a safari for a chance to spot zebra, wildebeest and antelopes as well as predators in their natural habitat.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Karatu
Drive past the vast Serengeti plains as you head to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a geological marvel, Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a wildlife haven with a diverse terrain including forest, swamps, lakes, springs, open grassland and sandy dunes.
