DAY 1: KILIMANJARO AIRPORT - ARUSHA

• Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), your driver-guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel.

DAY 2: ARUSHA - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK - KARATU

• Arrive at Tarangire National Park for a thrilling sunset safari. Tarangire is particularly celebrated for its large populations of elephants and diverse birdlife which live amongst the striking backdrop of ancient baobab trees that dot the savannah.
• Continue to your lodge in Karatu

DAY 3: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA - KARATU

• Discover the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a geological marvel, Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a wildlife haven with a diverse terrain including forest, swamps, lakes, springs, open grassland and sandy dunes.

DAY 4: KARATU - MANYARA NATIONAL PARK - ARUSHA - ZANZIBAR

• Enjoy a morning safari in Manyara National Park, renowned for its diverse ecosystems, from the lush groundwater forests to the vast savannah and large lake, as well as its tree-climbing lions.
• Continue to Arusha to catch your domestic flight to Zanzibar (scheduled departure at 3pm and arrival at 4pm).

DAY 3: KARATU - LAKE MANYARA NATIONAL PARK - KARATU

• After breakfast, departure for Lake Manyara National Park. Arrive at Tarangire National Park for a game drive until sunset.

DAY 4: KARATU - NGORONGORO CRATER - KARATU

• After breakfast, depart for the Lake Manyara National Park.

• Enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing on to Lake Manyara National Park for a memorable safari.

DAY 4: KARATU - LAKE EYASI - HADABE + DATOGA - KARATU

• After an early breakfast, depart on an expedition with the Hadzabe tribe.

• Later in the day, return to Karatu for an afternoon walk in the elephant caves with a local guide.

DAY 5: KARATU - NGORONGORO CRATER - VISIT THE MASAI VILLAGE - KARATU

• Visit the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 metres into the Ngorongoro Crater with a picnic lunch. This crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world.
• Visit a Masai village before returning to your lodge.

DAY 6: KARATU - ARUSHA - ZANZIBAR

• After breakfast at the lodge, depart with a picnic lunch for Arusha. 
• Board your flight to Zanzibar (scheduled departure at 12.45pm and arrival at 2.25pm).
