Surrounded by vineyards, Hacienda Zorita Wine & Spa 5* is an elegant wellness retreat just 10 minutes from the UNESCO World Heritage City of Salamanca. A former monastery overlooking the River Tormes, the property's impressive history dates back to the 14th century.
The gardens contain century-old chestnut and cypress trees, along with two pools. Extra virgin olive oil, local cheese, and pata negra (top-quality ham) are all produced on the estate, so prepare yourself for a luxury Spanish escape.

The Camaras rooms are located in the Casa Grande, overlooking the river. No two rooms are identical, although they all have original features from arched windows, to oak beams, and solid stone walls.

The hotel prides itself on its organic produce and for being a pioneer of the Slow Food movement. Admire views of the River Tormes in Zorita's Kitchen, located in the old refectory of the Dominican monks. Feast on dishes like ravioli stuffed with venison, or boar ragout tagliatelle. The Cheese Room offers exceptional cheeses from the farm and local area, from Churra sheep cheese to Verata goat cheeses and more. Sip on a glass of wine, craft beer, or a cocktail with signature artisan rum at Coolumbus Bar. The bar snacks are highly-recommended - try the hotel's own acorn-fed Jamón Ibérico.

The Wine & Olive Spa is located in the Hacienda's oldest building - a mill dating back to 780. Treatments at the spa are inspired by the history of the estate and the natural beauty surrounding it. Sample signature treatments that use wine and olive oil. Later, head down to the ancient wine cellars for a guided visit followed by a complimentary wine and craft rum tasting (see details on site).
