Amakhala Game Reserve for 6, 7, 8 or 9 nights —
Amakhala Game Reserve offers Safari Lodge accommodation and an authentic African safari experience in the Grand Addo region and the border region of the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.
You will have the opportunity to explore this superb reserve on a Game Drive (guided safari by car) twice a day. See lions, elephants, rhinos and leopards just a few metres away from the safety of your car.
During your stay, you can switch, if you wish and without extra cost, a Game Drive (guided safari by car) with a walk with a guide through the African bush in order to learn more about the area. It will be an opportunity to get off the beaten track and follow the myriad of elephant and rhino trails that criss-cross this ancient landscape.
Or, you can choose a unique experience: a horse safari! You will be able to enjoy an incredible view of the surrounding landscape while quietly travelling through terrain that is often inaccessible by vehicle. The unobtrusive nature of a horse safari also makes it possible to observe incredible animals - get up to 10-15 metres from wildlife such as elk, wildebeest, zebra, hartebeest and giraffes.

Singa Lodge
Enjoy a romantic and luxurious accommodation while staying at the Singa Lodge close to the beach in Port Elizabeth. The lodge offers nine suites and three executive suites that are fashioned in a modern Eastern and African decor that is distinctive and leaves every guest with a unique experience during their stay.
Amakhala Safari Lodge
The four-star Amakhala Safari Lodge is located in an indigenous bush valley on the northern edge of Amakhala Nature Reserve.
The owners Mike and Justine Weeks were inspired by traditional African tribal design and have paid meticulous attention to detail which is reflected in the African bead finishes and handcrafted designs that are evident in this prestigious lodge. This thatched-roof lodge with its unique safari suites and iconic stone roofs, offers all the comforts of a luxury lodge and is a peaceful retreat where you can regenerate your soul and listen to the sounds of nature.
Important: Please note that you will spend a single night called "Comfort Night" at Singa Lodge before returning to Amakhala Lodge so that you benefit from a shorter transfer upon arrival.

Your Suites
Take a seat in your luxurious Suite with a private plunge pool and separate living room. You will spend peaceful nights in your spacious bed draped with mosquito nets to protect you. The view of the bush from your pool will be a real treat!
From your suite you have a view of the water where monkeys come to play and antelopes and zebras go to quench their thirst.
Your Board Basis
This offer is based on a bed and breakfast stay for the Singa Lodge and a All Inclusive stay at the Amakhala Safari Lodge. All other meals are as per itinerary
At the Singa Lodge, you will delight in a bed and breakfast stay that will be just the thing you need to gently wake you up and prepare you for a day of excitement. During your stay at Amakhala Safari Lodge, you will enjoy an all inclusive stay meaning you get to taste test and dine on local flavours and traditional African cuisine.
Your Time
Just for you:
- Two game drives per day (can be switched for a Bush Walk or Horse Safari for no additional cost at the lodge)
After a day of thrills, you deserve a moment to relax! Head to the swimming pool overlooking the lush African bush, or the Spa to pamper yourself!
And the rest of the time, you will take advantage of your safaris to discover the animals on the reserve.

The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. Transfers:

Port Elizabeth is a friendly city situated in South Africa's Eastern Cape Province. The city is best known for its long hours of sunshine, sandy beaches and lovely tranquil waters. Take your time and relax while soaking in the sun or go for a boat ride to spot whales and rare seabirds. The city is also close to a number of malaria-free safaris where you can see lions, elephants, giraffes and rhinos as well as other big game.
