The obvious place to start is the Jemaa El Fna Square with its lively and exotic atmosphere packed with stalls, street cafes and even snake charmers! At night the square is lit and the smell of spices wafting through the streets is an experience not to be missed. A day trip to the nearby Atlas Mountains gives you the ability to leave the full-on nature of the city and escape into the blissful scenery of the picturesque mountains.

This is a little jewel hidden at the end of a lane near Dar el Bacha - an ancient doll's house of the Pasha Elune. Tucked away in the shade of Riad Sara Sara, which it is joined to, it is a charming Dar (traditional house) that will help you achieve pure relaxation and serenity. The house consists of 3 bedrooms, all on the first floor and connected by a beautiful gallery. The simple courtyard has a small lounge and a pretty fountain in green tiling and decorative plaster. You will be welcomed in traditional Moroccan style by the conscientious staff.

Dar Zellij

Dar Cherifa
Since its renaissance in 2000, Dar Cherifa has established itself as a key venue for art, culture, seminars, communication and international exchange. Between exhibitions or concerts, the simple but refined décor of Dar Cherifa, reminiscent of the Medersa Ben Youssef of which it is a contemporary, provides the perfect setting for a delicious snack or meal. The peaceful and serene atmosphere of this luminous and charming building creates the illusion of being far from the hustle and bustle of the souks, when in fact they are very nearby.
