Essaouira is still a relatively new tourist spot, popular with a bohemian crowd drawn to its laid back atmosphere, art and culture. The medina has an interesting souk where you can wander the cobbled streets and winding alleyways of the old city. You will discover the cafes, restaurants, galleries and craft shops for which Essaouira is famous.
The beach (just 10 minutes walk from your riad) is also a major highlight of this town where you can go wind and kite surfing, horse and camel riding or just walk along the scenic coasts.
