The region of Azilal, also know as the 'Higher Atlas Region' is a stunning area of Morocco, where lakes and mountains provide a cooling, tranquil oasis away from the overwhelmingly hectic pace of typical city life.

Less than 3 hours drive from Marrakech, lies Bin el Ouidane, a stunningly beautiful natural lake, flanked by exclusive villas and hotels. The nearest town is Beni Mellal, (35 minutes drive) so you are quite secluded here, but there is plenty to do both on the lake and on dry land, hiking, kayaking, fishing and waterskiing, to name just a few.

Flights: You may choose from Economy, Premium or Business class flights on sectors that they operate, at the next stage of the booking process.

The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Return transfers are included from Marrakesh Airport to the hotel is included for flight-inclusive offers. This includes an excursion en-route to your hotel, through the countryside and gives you a chance to discover Ouzoud waterfalls and Atlas landscapes, as well as a chance to visit a Berber Restaurant. This is only guaranteed upon flight arrival time. If arrivals into Marrakech are late, this will not be included.

Entry Requirements 


You must ensure you have a valid passport to travel on. 


If your passport describes you as a British Citizen, you do not need a visa to enter Morocco. For non-British citizens, you should check the current entry requirements on the website of the Morocco Foreign Ministry.

Passport validity
Your passport should be valid for the proposed duration of your stay in Morocco. However, the Moroccan Consulate General in London advise that your passport should be valid for at least 3 months on your date of entry to Morocco. If your passport does not meet this requirement you may face difficulties and you should check with the Moroccan authorities and your travel provider before travelling.

When entering the country, make sure your passport is stamped. Some tourists have experienced difficulties leaving the country because their passport bears no entry stamp. 


Health 


Visit your health professional at least 8 weeks before your trip to check whether you need any vaccinations or other preventive measures.

Henna tattoos are common in Morocco. Some henna tattoos contain the chemical para-phenylenediamine (PPD) which can cause a painful allergic reaction including swelling and an itchy rash in some people.
