Day 1 : Cancun
Touch down in Cancun to receive the details of your car rental, and get ready for your Mexican adventure! Please note : Arrivals are usually in the late afternoon or early evening.

DAY 2 : VALLADOLID
On the first morning of your great Mexican adventure you will visit Valladolid and its square, cathedral, market, the colourful Calzada de los Frailes street and the San Bernardino convent. At the end of the morning, visit the beekeeping centre of Xkopek, where a local guide will teach you about the Mayan bees, which are totally harmless because they don't have a stinger! Enjoy trying some tasty honey.
In the afternoon it's time for some swimming as you discover some of the most beautiful cenotes in this region. The two Dzitnup (X'keken and Samulah), entirely enclosed in caves, offer a refreshing break from the warm sunshine. Discover the semi-open cenote Zací, in the heart of the historic centre of Valladolid.

Day 3 : Rio Lagartos - Las Coloradas - Ek Balam
Depart for Río Lagartos. About 100km north of Valladolid, this small fishing village is the gateway to the Rio Lagartos National Park Reserve and a true paradise for nature lovers! Discover more than 200 species of birds and take a boat trip through the mangroves.
Head to the famous pink lagoon of Las Coloradas, which owes its name to the salinity of the water that gives it an incredible pink colour. In the afternoon travel to Ek Balam, a little known but beautiful Mayan site.

DAY 4: VALLADOLID - CHICHEN ITZA - CENOTES - IZAMAL
Today you will discover the marvellous site of Chichen Itza, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. Take in the majesty of the site and the echoes of its past glory.
You will then go to the Yokdznonot cenote to refresh yourself in its crystal clear waters, and head to Izamal, a charming colonial 'pueblo mágico.' Visit the Franciscan convent of San Antonio de Padua, whose atrium is as large as the Vatican. You can also climb the Kinich Pyramid for a breathtaking view of this yellow city.

DAY 5: MERIDA - UXMAL - MERIDA
After breakfast go to Uxmal, and admire its amazing monuments. In the afternoon you can bathe in one of the cenotes of the region, and the more adventurous can enjoy the surrounding villages and haciendas on a bike ride through the undergrowth.
Return to Merida at the end of the day and enjoy the lively Zocalo in the heart of the Yucatan capital.

Day 6 : Merida - Coba - Tulum - Playa del Carmen
This morning leave early for Coba. Once you arrive at the archaeological site, you can rent bicycles to explore the area! Arrive at the highest pyramid of the region, from where there are fantastic views over the jungle.
Continue to another important site: Tulum, one of the jewels of the Riviera Maya and the only known Mayan port. It saw the arrival of the first conquistadors a few centuries ago and is now an iconic outpost on the coastline.
Depart for the famous Playa del Carmen, a small tourist town by the sea. Take a walk along the famous 5th Avenue or finish with an afternoon on the beach to perfect your tan. Please note : vehicle will be returned today.

DAY 7 - 10 : PLAYA DEL CARMEN
Playa del Carmen is a Mexican resort on the Riviera Maya, located on the Caribbean coast of the Yucatan Peninsula. Part of the state of Quintana Roo, it is known for its palm-fringed beaches and coral reefs.
Enjoy 5 days of relaxation in Playa del Carmen. Take the opportunity to dive on the reef of Playa del Carmen and spot plenty of colourful marine life!

DAY 11 : PLAYA DEL CARMEN - CANCUN - REGRESO
Enjoy your last moments of relaxation, and take the opportunity to pick up some souvenirs. Pack your bags and head to Cancun airport, which is about 45 minutes away by car. A driver will be waiting at the hotel to take you to the airport.
