The visit to the Hindu temple is not to be missed. Over a hundred years old, its architecture and carvings are as stunning as they are authentic. You will be met by a pandit or priest who will explain the different rituals performed during the many religious festivals celebrated throughout the year.
The lively coastal village of Grand Baie offers a wide choice of restaurants, bars, shops, and nightclubs - take the free hotel shuttle one day to explore.

Be it a day cruise, a sunset cruise or a cruise overnight, what better way to get out and enjoy your holiday than to be on board a beautiful Catamaran. The cruises travel to several destinations and include different departure points. Spend a day at sea and take in the breathtaking coastal sites. You might see a swimming dolphin or two!
A first-hand encounter with some of the islands more common dolphin species, including the Bottlenose Dolphin and the Spinner Dolphin. Swim alongside the majestic and adorable aquatic mammals, and learn about their natural habitat on the coast of Mauritius.
Your day will begin with a shopping session in the factory outlets of Floréal and Curepipe where you may be tempted by a jewel at the diamond cutting factory, Adamas. After a stop at the crater of Trou aux Cerfs where you will enjoy a panoramic view of all Mauritius, you will arrive at the mystical lake of Grand Bassin, the place of the Hindu Mauritian pilgrimage. You will then admire the unique site of the Gorges de la Rivière Noire with abundant endemic flora which is home to many rare monkeys and birds such as Straw Tail, Cateau Verte or Kestrel.
Then enjoy lunch at the restaurant Varangue Morne, a very good table on the island with breathtaking views of the forest and the Morne lagoon. Continue exploring the land of the seven colours and waterfalls of Chamarel and finally finish exploring one of the most beautiful forests endemic to Mauritius.
Enjoy a full day in an air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking driver and guide, with entrance to the Ferney Valley and snorkelling in the marine park. This day trip includes lunch. Discover the huge turquoise lagoon where you will dive into a magical natural aquarium, and enjoy entry to Ferney Valley, a lush park spread across 200 hectares of incredible flora and fauna.
