Set on a serene beach of the northeastern coast that frames the Azuri village is the luxurious Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa 4*. The area houses the world’s third-largest coral reef and is renowned for its white sand beaches and clear lagoons.
The property lies 25 km from Port Louis, and close to Bras D’eau National Park, with its abundant hiking and mountain biking trails. Inside the 420-acre complex, guests will find oceanfront rooms, three restaurants and bars, and a spa.

Islet Escapade Excursion

From Pointe Jérôme on the south-east coast, a boat will take you to the 25-hectare nature reserve of Île-aux-Aigrettes. Managed by the Mauritian Wildlife Foundation, this conservation islet houses indigenous plants and coastal ebony forests. Observe rare species like the pink pigeon, the colourful day gecko and the giant aldabra tortoise in their natural environment.
The trip continues to Blue Bay and the beautiful white sand beaches of Île des Deux Cocos. After refreshments, visit the Follies, which, built 100 years ago by British Governor Sir Hesketh Bell, blends British and Moorish architecture with Creole style. Then, discover the marine environment by snorkelling or on a glass-bottom boat trip in the protected Marine park of Blue Bay. After lunch, the island is all yours to explore at leisure.

Colourful South Excursion

Your day trip will begin at Trou-Aux-Cerfs, a dormant volcanic crater with a unique 360° panoramic view. Continue to Voiliers de l'Océan, where you can watch local artisans making meticulous replicas of authentic 18th-century sailing ships. Set off for a drive through the interior of the island, through the forest, to Ganga Talao, a sacred lake for Mauritian Hindus located in Plaine Champagne.
Further down the winding road to the Black River Gorges National Park, reach a local restaurant with stunning views of the coastline. Continuing through the pineapple and sugar cane fields, you’ll discover Chamarel, its magnificent waterfall and its unique landscape with seven colours. On the way back, you will come across the emblematic mountain of Le Morne and Île aux Bénitiers.
Exotic North Excursion

This excursion passes through Cap Malheureux, a small village in the far north of the island, crowned by a pretty church with a red roof and offering splendid views of Gunner's Quoin and the northern islands. A walk through Grand Bay leads to the Pamplemousses Botanical Garden, where Sir Seewoosagar Ramgoolam's Samadhi burial shrine is located. This garden is a haven of 500 rare exotic plants, with giant water lilies, Talipot palms that bloom only every 60 years, and various spices.
Enjoy a traditional lunch at L'Aventure du Sucre, in an authentic sugar factory that explores the history of sugar cane on the island. The excursion continues to the Blue Penny Museum which displays famous postage stamps from 1847. The local Port Louis Market is a must-see to get a glimpse of Mauritian life.
