Udawalawe National Park is the sixth-largest animal sanctuary of Sri Lanka and is located 180 km from Colombo in the south-central sector of the island. DAY 3: Yala (90 km / 2-2.5 hours)

Morning Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home Visit (ETH):
Also named Udawalawe Elephant Orphanage, ETH cares for orphaned elephant calves until they are independent and capable enough to be released back into the wild. Elephant
calves have no limits in the area and are free to roam wherever they want. Similarly, wild elephants also often pay a visit. The seasonal fluctuating water level of the reservoir creates a diverse environment for both baby elephants and wild elephants.
Jeep Safari to Yala National Park:
The second-largest national park in Sri Lanka, Yala is situated in the Southeast part of the island in the dry, semi-arid climate region, bordering the Indian Ocean. The number of mammals recorded at Yala is as high as 44 while it also boasts one of the highest leopard densities in the world. The majestic Sri Lankan elephant and the leopard take pride of place at this amazing national park!
After the Safari, check-in to the hotel and relax. Overnight stay at the hotel in Yala.
DAY 4: Galle (130 km / 2-2.5 hours)

orange walled buildings with their characteristic clay-tiled roofs, and the local architecture. Visit a Dutch church and the ramparts of the old Galle Fort.
Take in the sea views and possibly even see some of the ruins of the old Dutch jetties while learning about the fort during the colonial era. Bike to the original Dutch lighthouse, built in 1939 during the British colonial period. At the end of your tour, return to your starting point in front of the Bank of Ceylon.

Your Destinations —
Maldives
Widely famed as one of the most beautiful destinations in the world, the Maldives attracts travellers looking for true peace and quiet. Of the 2,000 islands that make up the country, only 200 are inhabited, making them a hotspot for luxury resorts with beautiful villas overlooking the azure Indian Ocean.
Its capital city, Malé, is a densely populated island at the heart of the country’s 26 atolls, though most visitors will spend their time on one of the country’s resort islands. Here, you can experience true relaxation, waking up to tranquil sea views and spending your days on the soft, white-sand beaches or diving in stunning reefs. Indeed, the Maldives have an amazing diversity of sea life, with corals and over 2000 species of fish, ranging from reef fish and reef sharks to moray eels, rays and whale sharks.
Sri Lanka
With 8 Unesco World Heritage Sites to be found on such a small area of land and a 2,000 year old culture, Sri Lanka is as fascinating as it is beautiful. A destination that is often skipped by many a traveller on their trips to India or Asia, Sri Lanka remains one of the Indo-Asian best kept secrets. Visit its ancient sites and marvel over its legendary temples, or see the sacred home of the world’s oldest living tree, Anuradhapura.
Take a tour in one of Sri Lanka’s national parks to encounter elephants, leopards, water buffaloes, and exotic birds, or spend the day relaxing on the dazzlingly white, often untrod, beaches. Try your hand at a little surfing or retreat up into the Sri Lankan hills to experience a more temperate climate and the lavish greenery of the tea plantations. In addition, you can even trek through the rainforests with an experienced guide or just take in the breathtaking vistas on a spectacular train ride. With fabulously flavoursome food and a vast array of culturally rich experiences to delve into, Sri Lanka promises to be one of your best-loved travel destinations, where the charm of the people will simply enchant you.
