Luxurious, intimate, private, secluded…Tijara Beach is an exclusive private retreat hosting not more than 8 people at a time. With only 4 rooms on five acres of beautiful tropical gardens your privacy is guaranteed. While staying here you can have a very lazy time relaxing on your veranda soaking up some breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean or lazying by the pool soaking up the warm rays of the African sun.
Each cottage is beautifully sited on its own cliff head with large open decks commanding stunning Indian Ocean seascapes and complemented by our very attractive gardens. The cottages are refreshed by the cooling monsoon breezes that blow gently off the Indian Ocean all year round, and if it is a little too warm one can make use of the fan conveniently placed directly above the bed. All cottages overlook the beautiful grounds and have full views of the vast expanses of the azure Indian Ocean beyond.

The rooms have large decks where guests can choose to bask in the sun in an open area or keep cool under a huge makuti roof, refreshed by the gentle caress of the ever present monsoon breezes. As the sun sets, painting a fiery red and amber sky, guests can enjoy a sun downer while they await the spectacular full moon or clear sparkling stars to emerge as Africa bids a very good night.
Every cottage is very spacious with a large private deck which one can step on to from both the room and the bathroom. All cottages are en-suite with double wash basins, double showers and uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean from wherever you are!
Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

The hotel offers a a charming alfresco dining room with spectacular views and a cosy chill out area to enjoy your drink at before your meal or to rest in thereafter. Should you choose to dine in another romantic setting they will be happy to arrange it for you! Whether you love seafood or meat or are a vegetarian, they offer you delicious meals with Swahili and coastal dishes featured prominently on the menu.
