Your Ship

Royal Clipper is the world’s largest and only five-masted full-rigged sailing ship and undoubtedly one of the sea’s most impressive sights. For passionate travellers and sail cruising connoisseurs, the 439 foot Royal Clipper offers a sea-going experience like no other; finding an undeniable balance between the grandeur, adventure and tradition of classic sailing and the superb facilities, cabins and conveniences associated with the finest modern yacht.

Carrying a maximum of just 227 guests, the ample outdoor deck space and first class facilities ensure a luxurious experience in a relaxed environment. Chill out by one of the 3 swimming pools, pamper yourself at the spa or take a seat in the observation lounge, enjoying fantastic views.  For the more enthusiastic sailors, guests are welcome to help raise the sails and can even climb the mast to enjoy the most incredible views from the crow’s nest!

Cabins are similar in amenities, yacht-like décor and comfort. A select few open onto the deck, but most only vary slightly in size and layout. The biggest distinguishing factor between categories is location on the ship. The higher the cabin category, the higher or more central they might be located onboard.

Your ship's accommodations are thoughtfully designed, featuring: private bathrooms, air conditioning, hair dryers, private safe, television, DVD player, telephone and other amenities an experienced traveler has come to expect. Royal Clipper's electrical output is 220 volts.

Your Board Basis

This offer is based on a Full Board stay.

When you rise, help yourself to a continental breakfast with croissants, toasted English muffins or sweet Danish pastries. Or savour a full breakfast with fresh tropical fruits and crisp bacon, grilled sausage, smoked salmon and omelettes cooked to order in the dining room.

At lunch, a marvellous buffet of seafood, salads and grilled favourites awaits your pleasure. If the day includes a stop at one of the paradisiacal islands, you might also be treated to a festive outdoor barbecue on shore.

When evening comes, the elegantly appointed dining room becomes the setting for the chef’s finest culinary presentations, designed to please the eye and the palate. All complemented by equally fine wines.

The dress code? No need for formal gowns and black tie - casual elegance is the order of the day and each night.

Your Journey

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Transfers between the airport and port are included.  Details below.

Venice transfers: by taxi
Athens transfers: by taxi
Istanbul transfers: Embarkation - by taxi / Disembarkation - by COACH

Rome Transfers:
Embarkation
- Passengers on flights arriving at or after 2pm will be taken straight to the port on a shared coach.
- Passengers on flights arriving before 2pm, please make your own way to make the Hilton Hotel (attached to the airport) where we have a conference room with refreshments and light snacks. A coach will take you to the port nearer embarkation time.

Disembarkation
- Passengers on morning flights will be taken straight to the airport on a shared coach.
- Passengers on afternoon/evening flights will be taken on a shared coach to the Hilton Hotel at airport (as above) to wait for their flight. 

Meet & Greet

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Travel Documents

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.Please check all details on this confirmation are correct.  If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents.  You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services.  Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Prive to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
