Built in the sixteenth century as a noble residence, the Palazzo Giovanelli & Grand Canal 4* later hosted notable figures like Marco Foscarini, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and King Frederick Christian IV of Denmark. In 2008, entrepreneur Luciano Semenzato acquired the palace, and after an exquisite restoration, it reopened as a chic hotel with private mooring on the world-renowned Grand Canal.
