Enjoy a full day to discover Venice, one of the most captivating cities in the world.

In the morning, optional excursions are available (at additional cost):

You may choose to join a guided visit of the Doge’s Palace, one of the most iconic landmarks of the city. Built in the 11th century as the residence and seat of government of the Venetian Republic, this remarkable palace is renowned for its grand Gothic architecture and richly decorated interiors. Wander through its magnificent halls adorned with masterpieces by Tintoretto and Veronese before crossing the famous Bridge of Sighs, which once led prisoners to their cells. After the visit, enjoy some free time around St Mark’s Square.

Alternatively, discover Venetian craftsmanship during a unique cultural experience. Visit a traditional squero, one of the historic shipyards where gondolas are still crafted and maintained today. From the structure to the oars and decorative ornaments, numerous artisans collaborate to create these elegant boats that glide through the canals of Venice. The visit continues in a mask-making workshop, where you will uncover the history and symbolism behind the famous Venetian carnival masks such as the Bauta, the Plague Doctor and characters from the Commedia dell’Arte including Harlequin and Colombina.

The afternoon is at leisure to explore Venice at your own pace. You may wish to stroll towards the famous Rialto Bridge, spanning the Grand Canal and offering beautiful views of the historic palaces lining its banks.

In the mid-afternoon, an optional excursion (at additional cost) invites you to discover the Venissa wine estate. The city’s romantic atmosphere and stunning architecture create an unforgettable experience, making it a must-visit destination for travellers seeking history, culture, and beauty.

If you visit in February, you’ll experience the Carnival of Venice, a centuries-old celebration when the city comes alive with glittering masks, candlelit balls in opulent palaces and parades that echo its storied past. In 2026, the festival unfolds from 7 to 17 February, offering visitors a chance to see Venice at its most enchanting.

The currency is the euro (EUR). Venice is best explored on foot or by Vaporetto (water bus). The best times to visit are in spring and autumn, with mild weather and fewer tourists, though the city’s beauty is timeless year-round.
