Just 30km away is Naples, often thought of as 'Real Italy' - loud boisterous, and impossible to ignore. Make use of the hotel's shuttle service and make a trip here to experience delicious pizza in its birthplace!
The chic clifftop town of Capri is worth a visit to experience some modern glamour. Historic archaeological sites Pompeii and Herculaneum are a short trip away.

To reach your hotel, you will pass through an ancient porch of tufa columns, amongst orange flowers and climbing ivy, a truly enchanting entrance. The Secret Garden Relais is housed on the second floor of a stately 18th-centrury building and is surrounded by the lemon trees and cobbled streets that give Sorrento its signature charm. It was originally part of the vanvitellian school, from which you can still see the private chapel and a majestic helicoidal flight of steps.
Start your day with an extensive buffet-style breakfast be heading out to one of the area's numerous towns, made especially easy by the local train station - just 100m away! The port is also easily accessible so coastal gems such as Capri and the whole of the gorgeous Bay of Naples are just a boat-ride away.
