Right in the heart of Sorrento, the Hotel Antiche Mura is located in a superb position in the Piazza Tasso, the main square of this picturesque town. This is a great strategic position for the excursions to Capri, Pompei, Positano and Amalfi Coast as it is very close to the train and bus station and Sorrento harbour.

This elegant 19th century villa, built in the ‘Belle Epoque’ style was completely refurbished in 2005, and combines the stylish interiors and elegant décor reminiscent of the Art Nouveau period.

The Antiche Mura takes its name from the ancient, 15th century town walls upon which the hotel was later erected. These walls were designed to protect Sorrento from Saracen invaders and their remains can still be seen within the grounds of the hotel.

The impressive reception hall is furnished with leather sofas and decorated with antique furniture and lovely artefacts.  The swimming pool (with hydro-massage area) is situated in a lovely setting, surrounded by flowers, shrubs and fragrant orange trees. There is an elegant sun room with a terrace which is a charming place to sit at night by candlelight.

The elegant liberty style breakfast room, with its wrought iron chandelier, offers an ample breakfast including freshly baked croissants and cakes.

Return flights from London Gatwick to Naples with British Airways (economy class) are included.  Luggage is also included (20kg per person).
