Vehicle type:

Category B – ECMR, manual transmission. Model: Fiat Panda, Fiat 500 or similar. 4 seats, 3 doors, luggage capacity: 1 large and 1 small suitcase (or 3 small suitcases).

Category E – CDMR, manual transmission. Model: Fiat 500X or similar. 5 seats, 5 doors, luggage capacity: 1 large and 2 small suitcases (or 4 small suitcases).

Minimum driver age: 21 years.

Minimum driving licence validity: 1 year.

Documents required at pick-up: valid ID card or passport, a valid credit card in the name of the main driver, and a valid driving licence.

Drivers must hold a valid driving licence for at least one year and must not have committed any serious traffic offences. If the driving licence is not written in the Roman alphabet (for example Arabic, Greek, Russian or Chinese), an International Driving Licence (IDL) is required and must be presented together with the original driving licence. An International Driving Licence is also required for drivers residing in non-EU countries renting a vehicle within an EU member state.

Accepted credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Diners Club cards and debit cards are not accepted.

Car rental office opening hours at the airport: Naples Airport, Monday to Sunday from 08:00 to 11:00 pm.

The price includes roadside assistance service in case of emergency (contact details provided at pick-up), third-party liability insurance (RCA), Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) with partial coverage subject to the rental agreement, Theft Protection (TP) with partial coverage, unlimited mileage, airport surcharge of 16% for airport rentals, railway station surcharge of 16% for station rentals, road tax of €2 per day, a maximum rental duration of 30 days, VAT at 22%, and an additional driver.

The price does not include the refundable security deposit, which depends on the vehicle category: €600 for Category B–C vehicles and €800 for Category E–J–L–O–U vehicles. The deposit will be refunded after the rental provided all conditions are met.

Damage excess amounts are €1,200 for Category B–C vehicles and €2,000 for Category E vehicles. Theft excess amounts are €2,000 for Category B–C vehicles and €2,500 for Category E vehicles.

Fuel is not included. Unless otherwise stated, the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at pick-up. Additional insurance coverage may be purchased locally at pick-up, with costs varying according to the product selected.

A young driver surcharge of €15 per day applies to drivers aged 21 to 24. Motorway tolls, parking fees and traffic fines are not included. Refuelling service costs €18. Out-of-hours pick-up or drop-off is available on request at €40 (€50 in Puglia). A baby seat costs €35 per rental. Lost keys are charged at €250. Loss or damage of a GPS device is charged at €200. An administrative fee of €40 applies for each new notification. Accident handling fees amount to €50. Any item not listed under “the price includes” is excluded.

All prices are shown in euros and exclude 22% VAT. Due to exchange rate fluctuations and possible bank charges, the car rental company cannot be held responsible for any difference between the amount paid and the final rental cost.

Super Cover is available for Category B, C and E vehicles at €24 per day. It includes a 50% reduction of the security deposit required at pick-up and cancels excess charges in the event of damage, theft, fire, windscreen damage, tyre damage, interior damage or vandalism. In the event of partial or total theft or fire occurring in Campania, Puglia, Calabria, Catania and the surrounding areas, the customer remains financially responsible for a reduced amount of €1,000 for Category B–C vehicles and €1,250 for Category E vehicles.

Super Cover is not valid in cases of negligence, fraud or gross misconduct, in accordance with Articles 1176 and 1229 of the Italian Civil Code. In such cases, the customer remains fully responsible for the total cost of the vehicle.

These conditions are an extract of the rental agreement signed by the customer. The full version is available on the website of Drivalia. Conditions are subject to change without prior notice. Rates are valid in Italy only and are not eligible for loyalty programmes. Vehicle models are indicative and subject to availability. The rental period continues until the vehicle is returned. The driver must comply with road regulations and use the vehicle responsibly. CDW, TP and Super Cover are not valid in cases of negligence, fraud, gross misconduct or loss of keys. All customers must present a valid credit card in the name of the main driver for extras, insurance, excess and fuel.

Please note that GPS units are not available, as many vehicles are equipped with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. All vehicle models should be considered representative only.

Cancellation policy: bookings may be cancelled free of charge up to two days before the scheduled pick-up time. After this deadline, the supplier reserves the right to retain the full amount charged.

Important notice: if the main driver is not the person who made the booking, the full name of the driver must be sent to [email protected]. The credit card must be in the name of the main driver. Debit cards are not accepted.

If you book a package that includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package that does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as an agent for the accommodation provider.
