Your Destination —
One of its most prominent landmarks is the Castello di Rapallo, bordering the harbour. For breathtaking views over the whole area, take a cable car to the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montallegro, perched high on the hill. Inside, a heavenly atmosphere is created by gilded accents of gold, chandeliers and detailed religious paintings.
Outside of Rapallo you can visit Portofino, a small fishing village and a popular yachting destination. The view from the harbour is absolutely unforgettable, and there are a whole host of restaurants offering regional specialties for you to try.
Another place to explore is Cinque Terre, a rugged portion of coastline which is home to five villages and magnificent rolling hillsides. The Cinque Terre National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and so is definitely worth a visit for its stunning natural environment.

We are packaging this holiday with flights to Genoa but another option is to fly to Milan which serves more UK airports (200km/ 2.5 hours)
