Messapia Hotel and Resort is located in an idyllic position just 800 metres from the centre of the picturesque town of Santa Maria di Leuca.. The hotel is harmoniously integrated into the natural scenery of the Mediterranean maquis. This seaside resort, which was in the past a Messapian site and later a little Roman town, overlooks the stunning area of Santa Maria of Leuca on the eastern coast of Salento peninsula called “finis terrae” or “the end of the world”, because land seems to finish here, jutting into the waters of the Adriatic and Ionian seas.

Explore the picturesque Santa Maria di Leuca, whose ancient origins (as demonstrated by the Caves) are scattered all along the eastern and western coastline. Leuca, meaning 'the white one' includes the Japigean promontory, forming the end of Salento peninsula, which separates the Ionian from the Adriatic sea, between Point Ristola and Point Meliso. Enjoy this prestigious seaside resort, boasting a wonderful climate, fantastic landscape and dazzling sea.

Puglia - known for its sunny weather, whitewashed hill towns, centuries old farmland and hundreds of miles of Mediterranean coastline. The city of Lecce is known as the Florence of the South, thanks to its numerous examples of beautiful baroque architecture.

Your Hotel —

The hotel boasts 110 units, comfortably divided into 70 hotel rooms and different types of apartments in order to satisfy all necessities. The rooms are equipped with well-appreciated services, such as tv, minibar filled on request, air conditioning, telephone, a safe, en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer.

Featuring a large pool with panoramic sea views, Messapia Hotel and Resort is just 0.6 miles outside Leuca city centre. During the summer, the hotel provides daily entertainment and a convenient beach shuttle service - where you can hire sun loungers and parasols.

A continental breakfast is available each morning, and the Messapi restaurant serves delicious Italian cuisine at lunch and dinner.

The architecture and furnishing at Messapi aim to respect the basic elements of Salento environment, creating a simple and functional style that showcases the dexterity of local craftsmen. Recent improvements and additions to the hotel include a beauty centre, a green area and a new panoramic lobby for aperitifs.

Breakfast with buffet service, lunch and dinner with table service assigned to each room (water and wine included at meals).
Lunch and dinner with 3 courses (starter, a main course with 2 choices, a second course with 2 choices, fruit at lunch and dessert for dinner)

Soft All Inclusive includes water and wine at meals. At the Lobby Bar (from 10 am to 8 pm) soft drinks (orange and coke), 2 types of juice and iced tea. From 12 pm to 12.30 pm and from 7 pm to 7:30 pm Aperitime at the Lobby Bar.

With a fee: alcohol and spirits, coffee, drinks and water canned or bottled, ice cream, snacks, all packaged products, and all that is not included in the Soft All Inclusive.

Self service breakfast, lunch and dinner with a la carte menu and a chocuie between two first or two second courses.

Brasserue I Pajari
A la carte restaurant, offering typical dishes cooked with traditional processes. Here you can enjoy fish dishes and a great variety of pizzas.

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Private transfers can be added at the next stage of booking process for an additional fee. Distance/time from Brindisi Airport to hotel is 110km/1 hour 20 minutes. Clients can also fly to Bari Airport which has more air connections from the UK (220km/2 hours 20 minutes)

Car Hire: can be added at the next stage of booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only)

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our Meet and Greet service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.
The minimum age for driving a hire car in Italy is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
