Piazza del Duomo - a beautiful square bursting with ornate buildings. Here you'll find the duomo, Cathedral of the Madonna Assunta, originally built in 1144 and its famous 70 metre bell tower.
Roman Amphitheatre - built in the second century AD. The amphitheatre is partially excavated but monuments have been built above most of it. You'll see the remains near Sant'Oronzo Square where there's a Roman column topped by a copper statue of Saint Oronzo, the city's patron saint.

Considered one of most beautiful villages in Italy. It hosts an impressive cathedral, prestigious churches and the Castle of Otranto, featured in Horace Walpole's famous 18th century Gothic novel. The Daer Cave also has a particular importance, containing priceless archaeological heritage.
Santa Maria di Leuca is 68 km from Lecce
The city where "the land ends and the two seas meet", a tourist destination famous for the 19th century villas and its beautiful coastline, bordered by many fascinating caves, rich in Greek and Latin inscriptions and Neolithic findings.
