Your Destination —

The port city of Genoa is the capital of the Liguria region, famed for its grand past and narrow maze of twisting lanes (caruggi) in the Old Town.

An idyllic place to get lost in for a morning, afternoon, or even a few days, this is the perfect city break. Pretty piazzas, charming fountains, pavement cafes and shabby-chic architecture create a romantic yet laid back atmosphere. Don't miss the Romanesque Cathedral of San Lorenzo inthe centre of the town, with its black-and-white-striped facade and frescoed interior.

Seen as a gateway to the Italian Riviera, there are many wonderful daytrips to enjoyed from here, including the Cinque Terre - a string of colourful beautiful seaside towns. They are around an hour's drive from Genoa.

Built in 1897 by Federico Fioroni - founder and first president of the Italian Association of Hoteliers. During the course of its glorious history the Grand Hotel Savoia has welcomed members of the aristocracy and royal families of Italy and Europe, as well as political figures and other celebrities! Today the Grand Hotel Savoia is a 5* jewel of hospitality in the centre of Genoa. Entering the Grand Hotel Savoia is like stepping back into the past on board a marvellous transatlantic liner sailing for distant shores.

Inside the grand hotel are lovely modern facilities, such as a fitness area and small wellness centre. All 117 rooms are unique and boast period prints of distant vistas, alongside luxurious fabrics and amenities. Ristorant Salgari is an elegant and sophisticated restaurant, open to the public and hotel guests alike. Serving traditional Italian cuisine and seafood dishes, you'll be pampered by the chef and the excellent cuisine made up of fresh produce selected each morning in the port of Genoa.

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Private transfers can be added at the next stage of booking process for an additional fee.

Approximate time/distance between airport and hotel is 16 minutes/7.3km.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers
You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
