The Borgo Storico Seghetti Panichi is in the southern province of Le Marche, the Piceno area, in the small village of Castel di Lama. The hotel lies on a hill along the valley of the River Tronto and is 5 miles from the beautiful town of Ascoli Piceno and only 6 miles from the Adriatic Coast.
Your Hotel —
Originally an ancient medieval fortress adapted to a country residence in the second half of the 18th century, the hotel is completely embraced by the green historic park designed by the German botanist Ludwig Winter in 1875. This romantic garden has enormous oak trees, beautiful palm trees and rare exotic plants that grew thanks to the special micro climate of the area. The San Pancrazio Chapel, charms guests with its frescoes and architectural settings, offering wonderful views also from the windows of the villa.
The attraction of the Villa is its elegance and refinement in a tranquil and reserved atmosphere where guests feel at home. The living room with its welcoming settees and fireplace, the billiard room, the small sitting room for reading and listening to music are great places to relax. The gallery leading to the ground floor passes through a large window to the garden, a unique set for unforgettable dinners under the stars in summertime. On the first floor the landing with the library and old family portraits leads to the six suites Blu, Gigli, Winter, Orientale, Roma and Cielo.

This offer is based on a stay in a a Deluxe Apartment. You can choose to upgrade to a Junior Suite at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee.
Deluxe Apartments have private access and the added benefit of a sitting room and kitchenette. All have air conditioning and wifi internet access. Surrounded by the gardens and close to the swimming pool and restaurant, they are in the ideal place for families and for those who want privacy, convenience and luxury.
Junior Suites are tastefully decorated and are perfect for an intimate stay in a relaxing atmosphere. Antique family furniture has been used for all rooms. Each suite has 17th century tiled terracotta floors with decorated wallpaper, mahogany or walnut writing desks and cedar lined wardrobes. Marbles from Portugal, Brazil and South America have been used in the refurbished bathrooms. They all have a full size bath with overhead shower.
