Land Rover Safari - Nida, the heart of Crete
This superb excursion allows you to discover the highest mountains on the island. Visit traditional villages, caves, vineyards, and discover the mythology and local Cretan life.
Sunset Safari (from Kokkini Hani to Milatos)
Tested by our experts, this excursion will take you along Minoan roads, and through high mountains, while the sun slowly fades away into a stunning Cretan sunset. You will drive towards the Lassithi Plateau and in towards the mainland of the island.
This excursion begins at your hotel, and will take you through the mountains, as well as to the dam and water reservoir of Aposelemi and the ancient Roman aqueduct. From there, you will visit the peaceful village of Kastamonitsa where you can sample olive oil and raki.
Next, go off-piste along trails which wind through the mountains. Drive through unforgettable wildlife and stunning landscapes while learning about the mythology and history of the area. Take a stop for a glass of Prosecco and fruit while you watch the sun set. Next, you will enjoy a traditional Cretan meal in a small village with plenty of local wine (vegetarian is possible), before departing - the road home will see you drive through stunning seaside villages lit up at night!

Flights:
You may choose from Economy or Premium class flights on sectors that they operate, at the next stage of the booking process. The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.
Transfers:
It may be possible to add return airport transfers at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability). For inbound transfer arrangements, please confirm with your transfer provider when you arrive. Alternatively, please check with the reception of your accommodation. If you still require assistance, please call the transfer provider directly.
Car Hire:
For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, car hire may be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only - subject to availability). Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted). The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on the collection of the vehicle and in some cases, a credit card or cash deposit will be required. Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions. Other fees may be applicable in addition to the cost of your car rental for any additional products added to your car rental.
