Your Destination —

The beach is just 100 metres away and from there it's a short stroll to the traditional seaside village of Mikros Gialos.  The bay itself, is just one of many along Lefkada’s south coast, each one different but all sharing crystal clear waters, backed by the contrasting green of oak forest and olive grove, surrounded by steep hills, leading up to the high White Mountains.

With good paved roads along the coast and up into the mountains, exploration by car of the interior this fascinating island is straightforward. The bustling port and resort of Nidri where boats of all shapes and sizes almost outnumber the houses, picturesque Sivota, popular with yachtsman, or Vasiliki where a steady afternoon breeze has made the bay one of the world’s finest windsurfing venues are all within easy reach.

Staying at home beside the pool or on the beach is an equally attractive proposition, before wandering down to the village in the cool of the evening for an al fresco meal watching the lights come on in the mountain villages or even the moon rising over the Ionian Sea.

Car Hire: Car hire is included. Your hire car will be waiting for you at the airport with driving instructions. Approximate transfer time is 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Flight details are given as a guide only and may change.  We will however notify you in advance if flights are more than 2 hours outside the time range given. Flights are non changeable and non-refundable at time of booking.

Meet & Greet —

If you are driving to the airport in the UK, and book our package including flights, you may wish to add our 'Meet and Greet' service. Take the hassle out of airport parking and have an official representative take your car on arrival, and it will be waiting for you on your return.

This can be added at the next stage of booking process where available.

Car Hire —

Car hire is included from the airport.

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The minimum age for driving a hire car in Greece is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

You must present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

ATOL Protected —

The flight inclusive offer(s) shown on this page are ATOL Protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Voyage Privé is acting as agent for Ionian Island Holidays with ATOL number 5853 and your contract is with that company.

Travel Documents —

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official ATOL receipt and booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.  Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

If you have booked Meet & Greet, you will receive a separate voucher for this via email.

Please do make sure that you add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list and check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.
