Destination...Ile d'Olrron —

You just found your happiness. South of the Ile de Re, facing the city of Rochefort sur Mer, Ile d'Oleron is the largest French island on the Atlantic coast. Known as the "Perfume Island" or "The Radiant",  this island welcomes you in an enchanting setting, between fine sandy beaches and brightly coloured fishermen's huts. The weather calls for lost of sunshine, ideal for water sports, and the landscape is still untamed but linked to the main continent by a bridge.

Your Hotel —

So that your holiday will be as pleasant as possible, you will be checking into the Hotel Le Grand Large. This 4* luxury establishment faces the ocean and offers breathtaking landscapes. The building's architecture was designed by a student of the famous architect, Le Corbusier, which gives it is unique appearance. For mealtime, you may savour gastronomic cuisine at the hotel's restaurant as you admire the ocean view. A well-being space will equally be at your disposition! Everything you need to have a fantastic holiday! Upon your arrival, a complimentary glass of Pineau des Charentes will be offered to you to bid you welcome (per person, per stay).

Sleep

Elegant and delightful, the rooms at your hotel promise you a holiday highlighted by peace and serenity.

- Comfort Room (18 m² / max 2 persons): This functional room is perfect for couples looking for privacy during a shorter stay. 

- Saint Trojan Room (21 m² / max 2 persons): Enjoy this room that is opens to outside where a great calm reigns! 

- Prestige Room (20/31 m² / max 2/3/4 persons of which 2 adults): These rooms overlook the garden or the ocean. They are great for parties of two to four, so invite your friends to join you!

- Panoramic Room (27/37 m² / max 3 persons of which 2 adults): As its name indicates, this type of room boasts a beautiful bay window that provides exceptional views! 

- Family Room (28/37 m² / max 4/5 persons of which 2 adults): Bring the entire family along with you in these gorgeous and comfortable rooms where unforgettable memories will be created!

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

Taste

The hotel is also home to a lounge bar as well as a restaurant where you will share in moments of pure conviviality. Furnished in a contemporary fashion and using a carefully chosen table setting, you will revel in refined cuisine prepared by our chef and his team, with an extra emphasis placed on personal attention.

Experience

Located on the ground floor, its feet in the dunes and facing the ocean, the relaxation around next to the swimming pool gets sunshine all day long thanks to its large bay windows. You will also have access to our fitness room, that allows you to get in a work out at any time of the day. During your stay, you will benefit from a voucher good for a 20% reduction on a Californian massage (per room, per stay).

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: are not included.

By plane:
- The La Rochelle Airport is about 80 km away from the hotel

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
