Cafe Prunier: Exceptional French caviar
The Roaring Twenties were marked by extravagance. If industrial know-how and mass production were born with the First World War, the end of the war, on the other hand, created an extraordinary demand for luxury products and services. It was at this time that Emile Prunier began to develop fishing and caviar production in Aquitaine. He contributed to the first measures to preserve the environment and protect the species. In a unique ecosystem, in the middle of several hectares of preserved land on the banks of the Isle, one of the three rivers that flow into the Gironde estuary, the Prunier Manufacture has since perpetuated this heritage, highlighted by Pierre Bergé in the 1970s.
