From Marseille's oldest district, the Panier, passing through the Old Port to the Corniche, your trip to the south of France will not leave you disappointed. Finally, for family walks and swimming, head to Prado with its landscaped beaches, green spaces and excellent leisure facilities.
Cannes
Cannes and the entire French Riviera are synonymous with luxury, style and a certain measure of class. The region needs no introduction and a short break in Cannes is perfect for enjoying the aura of this star-studded city.
Explore Cannes' city centre, its collection of upscale shops and boutiques, and its glittering nightlife, complete with beautiful beaches and the famous “Palais des Festivals” where the annual film festival takes place. Coming to the Côte d’Azur isn’t only about experiencing the glamorous side of things. With Nice nearby as well as smaller towns such as Biot, Grasse, Antibes, and the Italian border a short drive away, a holiday here can easily turn into an opportunity to explore the very best of southern France and the Mediterranean.
Your Destination
Take a leisurely stroll into Livorno to discover the local sights, such as New Venice. With its romantic canals and quaint bridges, it's perfect for a day of discovery with a loved one.
The nearby region of Western Tuscany has much to offer, including Florence and Pisa. Alternatively, take a ferry to the island of Elba and visit the tourist town of Portoferraio, where the houses, placed on slopes due to its dramatic terrain, create a stunning, quintessentially Italian feel.

Rome
A city with a history spanning 28 centuries, Rome encompasses ancient ruins, Renaissance elegance, and modern style, all in one short trip. In this way, the city is a glorious architectural patchwork - begin at the ancient Roman Forum and Colosseum, before stopping by the Baroque masterpiece of the Trevi Fountain on the way to the glamorous shopping district of Via dei Condotti.
Looking over the city skyline, it’s hard to miss the many church spires - this is a city filled with religious monuments, and none is more conspicuous than the grand St. Peter’s Basilica within the independent state of the Vatican City. Within this tiny city, art-lovers will be thrilled to spend time in the Vatican Museums, housing some of the world’s most important examples of Renaissance art as well as the Sistine Chapel.
Elsewhere in the city, sample some authentic Italian coffee while standing at a bar like a true local, or treat yourself to the city’s best pizza - the Roman speciality of a square pizza offered by the slice can be found on most street corners. To relax and take in the city views, walk up to the Pincio Gardens - the perfect place to see a romantic sunset over Piazza del Popolo and the Vatican.
