Your Itinerary —
During your stay in Vuokatti, you will follow the itinerary as seen below.
Please Note: The itinerary detailed is for a 4-night stay. Guests opting to stay for 5, 6 or 7 nights in Vuokatti will enjoy additional days of free leisure surrounding their included excursions.
Upon arrival in Kajanni, enjoy an included shared airport transfer to the Hotel Vuokatti 4*. Check-in, explore the resort and enjoy free time before resting overnight.
Day 2: Finnish Wilderness Hike (2 hours)
Today your experience in Finland really starts. You will enjoy a relaxing hiking tour via a scenic route across the hills. A local guide will tell you stories about the Vuokatti region, while you get to enjoy the Finnish nature at its best – beautiful lake views, hill scenery and fresh forests. Drinks and delicious snacks will be included. After your hike, you'll spend the rest of the day exploring the resort, swimming or fishing – Vuokatti has plenty of choice on offer.
On this day, you can sleep in a bit as you won’t leave for the bear watching before the afternoon. We can promise truly an unforgettable experience and the best opportunity to take the shot of a lifetime from the comfort and safety of specially designed hides. At 2 pm, you'll transfer from Vuokatti after being picked up from your accommodation. You’ll be escorted to a wooden hide where you can safely wait for the appearance of the bears. There is one seat for everyone with a camera hole and the hide has a dry toilet. Packed picnic food is provided for the evening. After magical evening accompanied by bears, at 9.30pm you will be escorted back to the bus and transferred back to Vuokatti.

On this day, you'll have the opportunity to add on one of the excursions as detailed below in 'Your Optional Excursions'.
Day 5: Departure
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your return flight home.

You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.
Transfers: This offer includes return shared airport transfers from Kajaani Airport to the Hotel Vuokatti 4*. When opting to add the additional Helsinki stopover, return flights between Helsinki and Kajanni are also included. Transfers in Helsinki are not included or available with this offer.
