Northern Lights Village 3* is located north of the Arctic Circle, a territory dominated by the incredible nature of the surrounding national parks. Saariselkä is located in the Far North of Finnish Lapland, so is particularly suitable for the sighting of the Northern Lights, a natural phenomenon that often occurs at these latitudes. It's a gateway to the Urho Kekkonen National Park so is surrounded by amazing snow-covered scenery to explore. 

From the top of the mountain overlooking the resort, on clear days, you can see all the Lapland up to the border with Norway in the north and with Russia in the East: a breathtaking view of endless snow-covered forests, frozen lakes, wide plains and sublime mountains.

Northern Lights Village 3* —

Take in the mesmerising green glow of the Northern Lights from the glass-roofed Nothern Lights Village 3*. Located in Saariselkä, the village provides the ultimate comfort to experience not only the sheer beauty of the Nothern Lights but also the chance to get up close and personal with the otherworldly nature of the Finnish Lapland.

Your Board Basis

This offer is based on a Half Board stay (Breakfast and evening meal served in main restaurant - excludes drinks).

The Ice Resturant serves mouth-watering local flavours and special delicacies from Lapland and Barents Sea regions. Each tantalising dish is served to ice tables. If you fancy escaping the cold, there is also the Buffet Restaurant Kota. Meals are available at a supplement (payable locally).

After a day of adventures, pop in for a drink and chill out at the intimate and atmospheric Ice Bar.

Your Time

Just for you: Entrance to the sauna.

The services at the centre of Saariselkä, such as the store, the spa, and restaurants are only a 350-meter walk away.

The resort is also home to its own reindeer paddock, where you can watch and pet these curious creatures. There are a number of activities, such as a sauna, snowmobile and husky safaris, as well as Northern Light hunting trips, cross-country skiing and snowshoe hiking (bookable locally).
