Each of the hotel's impressive Scenic View Suites are equally comfortable and elegant, promising guests contemporary furnishings and eco-conscious design. The Suites are built in a duplex style, allowing guests to watch the northern lights while in bed from the loft window.

The hotel's charming restaurant promises guests elegant buffet-style dishes and locally sourced, natural produce in a casual atmosphere. While the fish is caught at the nearby Inari Lake, the reindeer meat is sourced straight from the traditional Sami reindeer breeders. The bar offers a wide array of beverages, including a fine selection of wines and a refreshing list of cocktails.

Siberian Safari (3 hours)
Imagine gliding through the crisp winter air, surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Arctic pine forest, with a team of huskies leading the way. The feeling of freedom is incredible as you navigate the snowy landscape, taking in the sights and sounds of nature all around you.
One of the adults will be driving the sleigh. Driver can be changed during the experience. Max. 2 persons per sleigh (max. 2 adults & 1 child).

Aurora hunting by car (3 hours)
This is a fantastic way to experience the magic of the Northern Lights! Ride in a warm minibus while a skilled driver navigates the best spots for aurora viewing.

Snowmobile Safari (3 hours)
Explore Saariselkä's famous mountaintops and stop at picturesque locations for photo opportunities. The chance to encounter reindeer and other wild animals adds an extra element of excitement and connection with the natural surroundings.
Driving a snowmobile requires a valid driver’s licence and 18 years of age.
The minimum height to ride as a passenger on a snowmobile for children is 140cm. shorter children must sit in a sleigh with an adult. Maximum 2 people per snowmobile.

Traditional Reindeer Experience (3 hours)
This is an incredible opportunity to connect with both nature and culture. Meet friendly reindeer and learning about the Sámi culture from a local herder.

What a magical way to experience the tranquility and beauty of the wilderness at night... Dining in the Wilderness Restaurant, surrounded by the serene atmosphere of the reindeer farm and husky farm, creates a truly authentic Lappish experience.

Please note: this excursion is only included for bookings between April and September. A snowshoe adventure around Kaunispää is a serene and rejuvenating experience. Being able to explore the mountaintop without any distractions like light pollution or crowds creates a truly immersive connection with nature.

Flights:
You will be able to choose your airline and flight times when you make your booking. This flight may include one or more stopovers. The stopover may be technical (without a change of aircraft) or transit (with a change of aircraft).
Luggage information
Luggage, meals and other services on board may be subject to an additional fee on certain airlines. It is possible to view details of luggage allowances when you choose your flights at the next stage of the booking process. If luggage is not included with your flight, please go to the airline's website before your departure to purchase your luggage for an additional fee.
For domestic flights, airlines do not always offer the option of reserving luggage. In this case, you will need to pay for it at the airport counter.

Saariselka —
Saariselkä is located in the Far North of Finnish Lapland, so is particularly suitable for the sighting of the Northern Lights - a natural phenomenon that often occurs at these latitudes. It's also a prime gateway to the Urho Kekkonen National Park and is surrounded by amazing snow-covered scenery, drawing visitors from across the globe.
Saariselkä is an authentic area where nearly 200 Sami herders live. Snow generally arrives around the end of November here, making it the best time to visit the area. From the top of the mountain overlooking the resort, on clear days, you can see all of Lapland up to the border with Norway in the north and with Russia in the East: a breathtaking view of endless snow-covered forests, frozen lakes, wide plains and sublime mountains.
