The glass villas are a part of Iisakki Village area in Ruka, right by lake Rukajärvi offering beautiful surroundings. In Winter (17th Nov - 1st May) Ski bus line 3 drives daily back and forth from Ruka centre to Iisakki Glass Village.

Iisakki Glass Village —

Settle into peaceful surrounds at the Iisakki Glass Village, where brand new glass villas have been built to immerse guests entirely into the natural environment. There is a tour desk that can organise various activities for guests, from skiing to cycling. There are also water sports facilities, free use of bicycles, an outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. To top it all off, guests can also enjoy Lapish themed nights at the nearby restaurant. An immersive experience indeed!

Revel in a totally unique experience immersed in nature in your very own glass villa, shrouding you in warmth yet revealing all the charms of the outdoors to you. Observe the movements of nature from the comfort of your own space, or tuck into some privacy by drawing the curtains, letting in the fresh Finnish air with your roof window. Each room accommodates two people, and are equipped with a kitchenette, shower and toilet. 

Your Board Basis —

This offer is based on a Half Board stay. (Breakfast and evening meal served in main restaurant - excludes drinks)

Each day, guests will enjoy breakfast in the restaurant Iisakin Talo (200 m from the villas, reception is located here as well). In the area there are two restaurants Iisakin Talo and Kontioluola. In the evenings, guests will indulge in a 3-course dinner in either restaurant. The cuisine is locally inspired and cooked using all the 'wild' ingredients from the forests and lakes around . Typical menu consists of a local fish, mushrooms, reindeer, elk, berries and another traditional Finnish delicacies.

Snowshoe walking in search of the Northern Lights (Day 2)
Capture the true feeling of a winter night in the beautiful scenery of Lapland. Our walk will follow the old reindeer treks in the surroundings of fell Pyhävaara. Every now and then we will stop to admire the nature and snow-covered trees. If the sky is clear, you will see a myriad of stars and with a little luck the colorful northern lights. During the trip we will have a break for a hot drink and our guide will also tell us interesting stories about the Northern Lights and local culture.
SaunaTour – Finnish sauna experience & Wild food dinner (Wednesday & Friday at 16.30)
This experience is guided with local sauna guide who will tell you about the original sauna culture and why it is so important to Finns! Sauna guide also joins in to the sauna and shows what to do there. No one is naked during this experience, you can wear you bathing suit or towel in the sauna.

Spice up your sauna experience also with warm outdoor jacuzzi or dip in the ice hole! Sauna is suitable for everyone from small children to grandparents. During the sauna experience berry juice, water and tea is served as well as small snacks.

After the sauna experience it is time to enjoy traditional Lappish wild food dinner in Iisakki Village´s old main house Iisakin Talo. Menu is full of local wild food delicacies with fish, wild game and berries and lots of different flavours! The evening begins with a short movie about the Northern Lights in a rustic outdoor barn theater, after which we move to Iisakin talo for buffet dinner.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
