Your Destination —

Spend 3 nights 20 minutes outside Rovaniemi (the "official" home town of Santa Claus!) in a stunning location right by a river in the middle of the forest, so travellers are able to experience a proper winter wonderland landscape in Lapland. Surrounded by beautiful rapids of River Raudanjoki, lush shoreline forest and pristine nature, the Arctic Circle Wilderness Lodge offers traditional Finnish log cabin accommodation.

A romantic atmosphere, sounds of silence and excellent cuisine make the Lodge a perfect holiday cottage for those who want to enjoy pure nature and hunt for Northern Lights not too far from Rovaniemi. The property is also called Vaattunki in Finnish and it is the gate to the Arctic Circle Hiking Area, a wilderness destination ideal for year-round outdoor recreation. The hiking area’s trail network is diverse and has a variety of hiking destinations and possibilities.

The location is easy to access at all times of the year....only a 15-minute drive from Rovaniemi International airport, a ride to downtown takes 20 minutes by car.

Your Itinerary —

Day 1:    Upon arrival in Lapland, you will be transferred to your hotel for your 3 night stay.
Day 2:    Today will be devoted to a 3 hour husky tour, the rest of the day is at your leisure.
Day 3:    Free day to explore.
Day 4:    After breakfast, you will have a shared transfer to the airport in time forb your flight home.

Panorma Design Huts at Arctic Circle Wilderness Lodge —

These newly designed cabins at the Arctic Circle Wilderness Lodge measure out to around 16.5 m² each and place guests right in the midst of nature with glass walls that look out to the crisp. Immersive yet totally cosy, the Panorama Design Huts are designed by the Finnish company Pine Art Production and boast a distinctly modern Lappish look inspired by nature’s building materials.

Each hut contains is a luxurious space where you can cuddle up after a day exploring this winter wonderland...your floor-to-ceiling window is a particular highlight where you can admire the wild beauty of Lapland without leaving your cosy abode.

Your Board Basis —

This offer is based on a half board basis (breakfast & evening meal in the main restaurant - excluding drinks).

Whilst staying here, guests can dine at the restaurant at Arctic Circle Wilderness Lodge and experience Lappish fare and can also dine around a large open fireplace at The Jaarankota wooden tepee hut. There is also a Finnish sauna and hot pool to experience a true part of the culture and also a wonderful way to rejuvenate.

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.
Please check all details on this confirmation are correct.  If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents.  You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
