Visit Petra by Boat (Included Day Trip) —
Discover the city of Petra, the capital of the Nabataean Arabs, and one of the most famous archaeological sites in the world. Located 240 km south of the capital Amman and 120 km north of the Red Sea town of Aqaba, Petra is a true marevl and undoubtedly Jordan's most valuable treasure.
Itinerary:
- Pick up from your hotel around midnight, and shared coach transfer to Taba Harbour (approximately 5 hours)
- Procedures of check in and passport control at Taba Harbour
- Ferry leaves around 06:30 am. Duration of the crossing is approximately 55 minutes to Aqaba, with estimated arrival at 07:30 am
- Passports control procedures in Aqaba
- Shared coach transfer to Petra that takes around 1 hour 45 minutes, including a stop on the way
- Photo opportunities at the tombs, followed by a walk through Petra canyon (possibility to hire a golf cart)
- Visit of The Treasury, Petra Roman Theatre, Royal Tombs from Afar and one hour free time for photos
- Transfer back to Aqaba Harbor (55 minutes by ferry to Taba Harbour)
- Passport control procedures in Taba Harbor
