Your Cruise Itinerary —

After your 7-night stay at the Royal Lagoons Aqua Park Resort and Spa 5*, you will have a 7-night cruise along the Nile on the M/S Grand Princess Cruise (departures on Monday from Luxor).

Day 1: Luxor 
Welcome to Luxor! Your tour begins when you are greeted by our representative who will assist you on board your floating hotel for your next 8 days.

Day 2: Luxor / Esna/ Edfu
After breakfast, your representative will transfer you to visit the magnificent Karnak and Luxor Temples. Once your visit to these ancient Theban Temples is complete, you will return to the boat for your lunch, and then you can watch as it departs Luxor and sails for Esna. As the Nile flows gently underneath you, and you can watch as the cruise boat crosses the Esna lock to the city of Esna. Enjoy lunch on board, while you sail onward to Edfu where dinner will be served later that evening.
Day 3: Edfu / Kom Ombo / Aswan
After breakfast on board, you will start with a visit Edfu, the home of the best-preserved temple in Egypt: the Temple of Horus. After your visit to this superb temple, you will be taken back to the boat before it departs to Kom Ombo. Dinner will be served as the boat sails majestically towards Aswan where the cruise will be docked for the next days' visits.
Day 4: Aswan
After breakfast, you will start with a visit to Aswan. You will be driven to see the High Dam, the world ’s largest rock-filled dam, and then a short sail to the Temple of Philae which was moved to the island of Agilika after the waters of Lake Nasser flooded its original location. It is then back to the boat for your lunch and dinner.
Day 5: Aswan
After breakfast, it is time to sail by felucca to see the Botanical Gardens on Kitchener Island. The rest of the day is free for you to do as you choose. Optional Trip: You may choose to visit Abu Simbel to see these marvellous temples, which were originally carved out of a rocky mountainside by Ramses II.
Day 6: Aswan / Kom Ombo / Edfu / Luxor
While you are having breakfast the boat sets sail, this time downstream, for Kom Ombo once again. Today you can visit the temple early in the morning before the boat heads off to Edfu. After lunch, you will cross the locks at Esna, once again, as the boat heads back to Luxor.
Day 7: Luxor
After an early breakfast, it is time to visit the West Bank of Luxor: the tombs of the New Kingdom Pharaohs in the Valley of the Kings; the magnificent temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahri finishing with the immense Colossi of Memnon. After this visit, it is onto the Theban "City of the Dead". You will then be taken back to your boat for your lunch, and then you can enjoy your dinner as the Nile laps gently underneath you.

Day 8: Departure 
You will have your final breakfast on the boat before you have to check out. You will be transferred from Luxor to your next destination by your representative who will help you with your luggage before your final departure.
