The Eagle’s Nest
On the top floor, this British style pub is named after the many sea eagles that can be seen on the eastern coast of Soma Bay. True to it’s name, it dominates the entire peninsula from its privileged location.

Alternatively, the many outdoor terraces surrounding The Eagle’s Nest feature a number of “shisha corners” for relaxed contemplation of the desert landscape, the sea and starlit skies.

The 18 hole, par 72 course has lush green fairways that contrast dramatically with the rugged desert and the clear blue waters of the surrounding sea.
        
Adjacent to the course, is a 9 hole, par 3 Golf Academy Course, also designed by Gary Player. It offers both the beginner and the more advanced golfer the opportunity to practice a variety of shots with emphasis on the short game.

There are also extensive practice facilities, including a 60 bay driving range, and several putting and pitching practice greens. Individual and group tuition by PGA Golf Professionals is also available.

For centuries the waters and sands surrounding Soma Bay have been renowned for their richness and natural healing power; the ideal base for effective thalasso-therapy.
Les Thermes Marins des Cascades is an integral part of La Résidence des Cascades, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World® and is easily accessible from all of its guest rooms but operates as a stand-alone unit servicing the entire Soma Bay community. It is operated in cooperation with Les Thermes Marins de Saint-Malo of France and is one of the largest and best equipped spas and thalasso centers in the world.
