The museum is home to a rare collection of 5000 years of art & is considered the largest, most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Visitors to this museum will be able to view 250,000 overwhelming artefacts, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen's legendary collection of treasure, gold and jewellery (enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated).
You can also opt to visit the Royal Mummy Room, where 9 royal mummies from the New Kingdom are displayed.
Embark on a 2 hour boat trip through the Red Sea. This boat comes with a glass bottom so you can view the Red Sea's wealth of corals and marine life. This trip includes transfers to/from your hotel.

See the great Pyramids of Giza – Cheops (Khufu), Chephren and Mykerinos. You can even entre each one for an additional fee, payable locally (subject to opening). Next, you will visit the Valley Temple - the place where the priests mummified the dead body of King Chephren, owner of the second pyramid at Giza Plateau.
Stop for a photo with the Sphinx - the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren. It may be possible to take a short camel on the plateau (pay locally).
After lunch, continue to Sakkara, home to Zhoser’s step pyramid. The step pyramid was constructed by Imhotep, the pharaoh’s chief architect in 2700 BC, and was the template for all future pyramid construction, including the Great Pyramids of Giza. Three major discoveries have recently been made at Sakkara, including a prime minister's tomb, a queen's pyramid, and the tomb of the son of a dynasty founding king. Learn about the unusual layout of the pyramid of Userkaf, enter inside the pyramid of Teti and afterwards visit the small Imhotep Museum and see the site’s artefacts.
Spend an evening on the Nile, complete with buffet dinner and entertainment as you sail past many of Cairo's landmarks. Get a feel for Egypt's culture with traditional music, a belly dancer, Tanoora show and whirling dervishes with a live band. Transfers to/from your hotel are included.
Start the day with an early morning drive to Luxor & spy statues that form the Colossus of Memnon, over 15 metres (49 feet) high, portraying the Pharaoh Amenophis III. Continue to the Valley of the Kings & cross to the Nile's east bank for have lunch in Luxor.
Spend some time exploring Luxor Temple and then continue to the complex at Karnak, the largest ancient religious site in the world.
