Surf and Turf Full Day Jeep & Boat Combination Tour from Paphos and Limassol
A combination Land and Sea tour featuring a full day of adventurous swimming and sightseeing across Western Cyprus' wild coastal frontier, the Akamas Peninsula. Get ready for non-stop thrills, lots of swimming and tons of fun. The itinerary takes in all the "must-see" sites and landscapes of this spectacular environmental wonderland.
The Avakas Gorge is perhaps Cyprus' most impressive natural wonder, this deep canyon is famous for the sheer walls of limestone that come narrowly together to form a natural tunnel. A not too strenuous walk of 30-40 minutes is required to see the best parts of the Gorge. Decent footwear is advised. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the most important and pristine beaches in the entire Mediterranean, Lara Beach, where the Cyprus Turtle Conservation Project has been saving endangered sea turtles from extinction for three decades. Learn the secrets of these sensitive and delightful sea creatures as we take you through the conservation exhibits at the beach. Turtle nestling season is June-August, the nests hatch until early October. One of the true landmarks of the Akamas is the Baths of Aphrodite. This fresh-water spring is connected to the myth of the Goddess of Love. The North-East has absolutely the most memorable coastline in Cyprus with the incredibly clear turquoise waters. To experience this area at its best, we board our boat to tour the various coves, look for sea turtles and stop at the Blue Lagoon for swimming. Included in this adventure is an extremely memorable lunch freshly prepared for you with local dishes, wine, water and lemonade.

Limassol —
Limassol, set on Cyprus’s sun-drenched southern coast, blends ancient heritage with modern Mediterranean flair. Once a humble fishing port, it has evolved into a cosmopolitan seaside city where history, culture and beachside living coexist in perfect harmony. From its medieval castle and lively marina to its vibrant promenade and nearby vineyards, Limassol offers a taste of Cyprus that’s both sophisticated and full of soul.
Must-sees:
- Limassol Old Town: Wander its maze of narrow streets, filled with colourful cafés, boutiques and traditional workshops.
- Limassol Castle: A medieval fortress turned museum, where legends of Crusaders and kings come to life.
- Limassol Marina: A stylish waterfront lined with luxury yachts, restaurants and sunset terraces.
- Kourion Archaeological Site: Just west of the city, this ancient Greco-Roman amphitheatre overlooks the sea - one of Cyprus’s most spectacular views.
Culinary culture:
Limassol’s gastronomy celebrates Cyprus’s rich Mediterranean roots. Savour meze, an endless array of small dishes featuring halloumi, olives, grilled octopus and dips like tzatziki and taramasalata. Try souvla, slow-cooked meat roasted over charcoal, or loukoumades, honey-drizzled doughnuts served warm. Pair your meal with a chilled Commandaria, the island’s legendary sweet wine with centuries of history.
Dive deeper:
Limassol is more than a beach city - it’s a cultural hub with a creative spirit. Visit the Municipal Market for local produce and handmade goods, or explore the Wine Villages of the Troodos foothills, where stone-built hamlets and vineyards preserve ancient winemaking traditions. Along the seafront, the Molos Promenade is ideal for evening strolls beneath palm trees and open-air art installations. In summer, the city hosts lively festivals celebrating music, film and wine.
Good to know:
Limassol is about 45 minutes from Larnaca International Airport and one hour from Paphos. The best time to visit is from April to October, when warm weather and calm seas create perfect conditions for sightseeing and swimming. The local currency is the euro (EUR).
