Pair your meal with a chilled Commandaria, the island’s legendary sweet wine with centuries of history.

Limassol is more than a beach city - it’s a cultural hub with a creative spirit. Visit the Municipal Market for local produce and handmade goods, or explore the Wine Villages of the Troodos foothills, where stone-built hamlets and vineyards preserve ancient winemaking traditions. Along the seafront, the Molos Promenade is ideal for evening strolls beneath palm trees and open-air art installations. In summer, the city hosts lively festivals celebrating music, film and wine.
Good to know:
Limassol is about 45 minutes from Larnaca International Airport and one hour from Paphos. The best time to visit is from April to October, when warm weather and calm seas create perfect conditions for sightseeing and swimming. The local currency is the euro (EUR).
