Dining at Sancta Napa unfolds as a small tour of its own, from the nightly-changing buffet at Margarita Main Restaurant to the wood-fired warmth of Pesto's relaxed Italian menu. As the sun dips, the Roof Top Restaurant comes into its own, its Pan-Asian plates and sweeping Mediterranean views making for one of Ayia Napa's more theatrical dinner settings. Between meals, four separate pool bars offer everything from handcrafted cocktails at Jasmine to the laid-back, ice-cream-and-a-beer ease of Andriana. It is unfussy, all-day dining done with genuine warmth.
Your time
Beyond the shoreline, the resort's leisure offering leans toward slow, deliberate pleasures. The Touch & Glow spa invites long, unbothered afternoons of massage and facials, while a well-appointed gym, archery and ping-pong sit ready for those who prefer to move rather than lounge. Evenings often drift towards open-air shows beneath a wide Cypriot sky.
Three outdoor pools, including a dedicated children's pool, mean the resort caters as much to families as it does to couples seeking quiet.

Ayia Napa —
Ayia Napa, on the southeastern coast of Cyprus, combines dazzling beaches with a reputation as one of Europe’s most vibrant nightlife destinations. Once a small fishing village, it has grown into a lively resort where sun-drenched days flow into music-filled nights, all framed by the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean.
Must-sees:
- Ayia Napa Monastery: A medieval landmark at the heart of town, offering a peaceful contrast to the surrounding energy.
- Thalassa Museum: A fascinating maritime museum with a life-size replica of the ancient Kyrenia II ship.
- Nissi Beach: The most famous of Ayia Napa’s Blue Flag beaches, with soft sand and clear, shallow waters.
- Cape Greco National Park: A natural wonder with sea caves, hiking trails and panoramic views over the coastline.
Culinary culture:
Ayia Napa’s dining scene mixes Cypriot tradition with international flair. Enjoy fresh seafood meze, souvlaki grilled over charcoal, or halloumi served with local bread and olive oil. For dessert, loukoumades and honey-dipped doughnuts are a sweet island treat, best paired with strong Cypriot coffee or zivania, the local spirit.
Dive deeper:
Beyond its famous nightlife, Ayia Napa offers a wealth of outdoor experiences. Take a boat trip to discover hidden coves and sea caves, or go snorkelling and diving in crystal-clear waters. Hike or cycle through Cape Greco’s trails, where wildflowers bloom in spring and dramatic cliffs drop into the sea. For a more relaxed pace, explore nearby villages to experience Cypriot hospitality and traditional crafts.
Good to know:
Ayia Napa is about 45 minutes from Larnaca International Airport. The best time to visit is during the summer months (June to August), when the beaches and nightlife are at their peak, though spring and autumn offer pleasant weather with fewer crowds. The local currency is the euro (EUR).
