Day 1: Arrival in Dubrovnik

You’ll land at Dubrovnik Airport, where you’ll collect your hire car straight away. After a stunning drive along the coast, it takes about 45 minutes to reach the Admiral Grand Hotel. Take some time to settle in and enjoy your first glimpse of the Adriatic Sea, right in front of you.

 

Day 2: Historic Dubrovnik

Today, you’ll explore the impressive old town of Dubrovnik, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stroll along the ramparts, wander down the Stradun and admire the Rector’s Palace and Pile Gate. For a spectacular view, take the cable car to the summit of Mount Srđ. In the evening, soak up the atmosphere of the narrow streets and squares at your own pace.

 

Day 3: Pelješac Peninsula

Set off to discover the wild and authentic Pelješac Peninsula. In Ston and Mali Ston, explore ancient fortifications and sample fresh oysters and mussels. Day 4: Islands of the Adriatic Sea

Today, we recommend a boat trip to the idyllic Elaphiti Islands. You’ll visit Lopud and Šipan in particular, where crystal-clear waters and charming villages await you. An ideal day spent enjoying the sun, sea and relaxation, before returning to the mainland.

Day 5: Towards the Split region

After breakfast, set off on your road trip towards Split. On the way, you’ll cross the impressive Pelješac Bridge and can stop off in Makarska to stroll along the seafront promenade. Omiš, with the spectacular gorges of the River Cetina, is also well worth a visit. In the late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Solin and check into your hotel. Take the opportunity to visit the nearby ruins of Salona, once an important Roman city.

 

Day 6: Split & Trogir

Today, combine culture with charm. In Split, discover the impressive Palace of Diocletian, the Peristyle and St Domnius Cathedral. Stroll through the local market and soak up the lively atmosphere. In the afternoon, head to the picturesque town of Trogir, a medieval island town perfect for wandering through its narrow streets and along its ramparts.

 

Day 7: Nature or islands
