The Euro is the local currency, and the best time to visit is from May to October when the weather is warm and ideal for sightseeing. Dubrovnik is compact and easy to explore on foot, though there’s also a reliable bus system for getting around. Modesty in dress is appreciated when visiting religious sites like Dubrovnik Cathedral or the Franciscan Monastery.
