This is the second-largest city in Croatia!

Split is a great place to see Dalmatian life as it’s really lived - Always buzzing, this exuberant city has just the right balance of tradition and modernity. 

Step inside Diocletian’s Palace (a Unesco World Heritage site and one of the world’s most impressive Roman monuments) and you’ll see dozens of bars, restaurants and shops thriving amid the atmospheric old walls where Split life has been going on for thousands of years. To top it off, Split has a unique setting. Its dramatic coastal mountains act as the perfect backdrop to the turquoise waters of the Adriatic. You’ll get a chance to appreciate this gorgeous cityscape when making a ferry journey to or from the city.
Hvar
Fine beaches, fragrant lavender fields, and a historical hilltop fortress - all nudging the cool Adriatic Sea. This a Croatian island that is best known as a summer resort and for being a characterful, old port town.

Anchor your toes into the sand and sip a cool beer whilst you watch life go by underneath the blazing sun - this is the sunniest spot in the whole country!
Krka National Park
Enjoy the striking cascades of the seven waterfalls and sprawling flora and fauna in this glorious park, situated along the Krka River in central Dalmatia, southern Croatia.

As it is regarded as one of the most important cities in the Herzegovina region, Mostar is an impressive city and the cultural capital - in the centre of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation.

Your Itinerary —

DAY 1: Arrival
Arrive into Split airport -  this is where you will pick up your car.
Head to town Vodice to check-in in your hotel. Depending on the hour of your arrival, you can use the rest of the day to explore the town of Vodice or maybe drive to the nearby town Šibenik, which sits as a naturally protected harbour. Get a taste of the local shopping, pause for some serene contemplation at UNESCO listed Cathedral of St James in Sibenik, steep yourself in history or learn about winemaking at the local vineries, or just wander the streets of the oldest Croatian city on the coast.
Overnight.

DAY 2: Vodice – National Park Krka - Vodice
After Breakfast, we recommend departure for National Park Krka - The Krka River is definitely the most amazing among the rivers of Croatian karst. Its numerous falls are formed by settling of the plaster of paris, a kind of limestone.The national park comprises the most part of the river’s course with the surrounding coastal area, from the historical town of Knin situated near the river’s spring to another historical town of Skradin. Along the course of the river, there had been over 30 watermills, and several washing holes. The best preserved and recently restored witnesses of the times gone by are near the Skradinski Buk. Among numerous waterfalls, Skradinski Buk and Roski slap attract most attention with their special beauty. Between those waterfalls, there is a small island of Visovac with the Franciscan monastery.

DAY 3: Vodice - Split - Vodice
After breakfast, you are leaving Vodice. Discover picturesque mediaeval town Trogir where you can visit the Cathedral of St. Lawrence. Continue to Split we recommend sightseeing tour of Split - second largest city in Croatia is economic, administrative, educational, sport and tourist centre of Split Dalmatia county (Middle Dalmatia), Within the area of Split and Solin the oldest findings are from the time of Neolithic and Eneolithic. In the late ancient period during the Roman administration, Diocletian Palace was built. It was around 298. year after Christ when the Roman imperator Gaius Aurelius Valerius Diocletianus decided to start the construction in the bay of Split on the Dalmatian coast nearby his birthplace, Salona..., visit covering the Diocletian’s Palace on the UNESCO’s List of World Cultural Heritage, with the Peristyle, the Jupiter’s Temple and the Cathedral. Free time.

DAY 4: Vodice - Hvar
After breakfast and check out from your hotel, head towards Split where you will board the ferry to island Hvar. Check the ferry schedule before the departure because it runs 4-5 times a day.

DAY 5: Hvar Town
The town of Hvar is situated on the island of the same name. This is THE destination of the Jet-Set in Croatia. It’s called the Croatian Saint-Tropez but do not expect to find luxury stores here. Hvar is full of simple little shops that give him the charm of a typical Dalmatian village. Hvar has everything you can wish for, from rich history to day, and night, entertainment.

DAY 6: Hvar
Enjoy a relaxing day at the hotel or join one of many excursions to explore the beautiful island or its crystal clear sea, beaches and scenery.

DAY 7: Drvenik - Tucepi
After check out from the hotel, drive across the island on ferry, Sucuraj – Drvenik. Once on mainland continue to Makarska Riviera - a part of the Croatian coast of the Adriatic Sea, about 60 kilometres long and only several kilometres wide, squeezed under towering mountain Biokovo. The sunny climate and long pebbly beaches make this region a popular tourist destination. Overnight.

DAY 8: Tucepi - Mostar - Tucepi
After breakfast, drive along the Adriatic Coast and the Neretva River Delta. We recommend planning a visit to Mostar - a city and municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the largest and one of the most important cities in the Herzegovina region. This is the cultural capital and the centre of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation. On this day trip, see the Old Bazaar, the Turkish House and historical mosques.

DAY 9: Tucepi – Makarska
Find one of many beautiful beaches or secluded bays on this Riviera and enjoy a relaxing day of sea and sun before you depart home.

The minimum age for driving a hire car in Croatia is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract —

Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
