Your Destinations —
Cape Town - South Africa
There is such a diversity of attractions and activities you will not be disappointed with your city experience. Offering fantastic views of the city, Table Mountain dominates the skyline. For natural surroundings, there are gardens, beaches and vineyards all close by.
Cape Town is steeped in history and many of the museums and monuments have much to tell. For a cosmopolitan and lively experience, visit the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront with a wide variety of shops, restaurants and craft markets.
Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe
Victoria Falls is the only waterfall in the world with a length of more than a kilometre and a height of more than hundred meters. It is also considered to be the largest fall in the world.
The noise of Victoria Falls can be heard from a distance of 40 kilometres, while the spray and mist from the falling water are rising to a height of over 400 meters and can be seen from a distance of 50 kilometres. No wonder that the local tribes used to call the waterfall Mosi-o-Tunya “The smoke that thunders”.
The water level varies throughout the year; it is at its peak in April, at the end of the rainy season when on average 500,000,000 litres of water flow and it is at its lowest level in October and early November.
Chobe National Park - Botswana
These awe-inspiring parks have some of the largest concentrations of game on the African continent, with regular sightings include giraffe, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and bushbuck. Botswana is particularly known for its high concentration of majestic elephants. It is not uncommon to see between 500 and 1000 elephants on these floodplains at one time.

Your Suggested Itinerary —
Spend your first four days soaking up the unique vibe of cosmopolitan Cape Town. We've also included a wine tasting voucher for two, to be enjoyed at the Avontuur Wine Estate.
Cape Town is a fantastic base to explore the surrounding sights, such as the Cape of Good Hope, Simon's Town, and Boulder Beach - where you can get up close and personal with African Penguins! You can also embark on a day trip to Robben Island to visit the prison where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 18 years.
A great introduction to this spectacular city, the Cape Town City Tour provides the perfect opportunity to sample some of its attractions and get your bearings.
First up, it's the cable car to the summit of the legendary Table Mountain - weather permitting - for incredible views of the city and surrounding layout of this southernmost tip of Africa. You will then visit the country's oldest building, The Castle, and a short distance away, the Company Gardens, both historically fascinating and well conserved.
Your journey continues past Parliament Buildings, City Hall and the Slave Lodge, and you'll sense the depth of history via their distinctive architecture. Colonial then changes to colourful, as you move up the cobblestoned hills to the Malay Quarter, and marvel at the ice-cream colours of the quaint Bo-Kaap homes.
Your day ends on a sparkling note, as you trace the moves of a professional diamond cutter, as he works with these precious stones.
Make the most of your time in the magical Victoria Falls area with an included dinner at your lodge, as well as an included morning or sunset cruise on the Zambezi River - the time of day will be dependent on the water levels.
One of the seven wonders of the world, Victoria Falls look very different depending on whether you travel during the dry or wet seasons. During the dry season, you can visit the 'Devil's Pool' - a natural rock swimming pool on a ledge of the Victoria Falls, not for the faint-hearted!
We recommend crossing the bridge to Zambia from Zimbabwe, for a fantastic view of the waterfall - on the Zambia side of the falls, you can get up close to the waters - in the wet season, you'll need to be prepared to get wet! For this, you'll need a KAZA visa which can easily be obtained on arrival at the airport.
On this 12-15 minute helicopter ride (available from both Zambia and Zimbabwe), your flight path will take you over the cascading, seemingly tranquil Zambezi River and the Victoria Falls. Soak up this unique perspective from above and feel truly at one with this magnificent natural wonder.
Each day of your stay at Chobe, you'll be able to enjoy two activities which will be game drives or boat safari trips.
Depending on the time of year you travel, you'll be able to see a plethora of wildlife: Chobe is Botswana's best-known park for spotting game, including lions, leopards, elephants, hyenas, hippos and crocodiles.
Your stay places you on Chobe Waterfront, where many animals gather during the dry season.
Please Note: The sunset cruise is only valid 1 November-20 December 2018 and 1 January-31 March 2019.
