Its stunning Old Town gained World Heritage status in 2000, leaving many wondering what took UNESCO so long. A medieval masterpiece, it is like one big open-air museum, a cultural theme park where visitors can experience a rich concoction of Flemish architecture, art, history and food.

Often dubbed the "Venice of the North",  Bruges has 15km of canals and more than 100km of well preserved medieval facades in Gothic and renaissance styles, as well as numerous museums.

Situated by one of the charming canals, with a view of a yacht harbour and adjacent green city fortifications, Hotel Rosenburg boasts the perfect location to discover Bruges. Things to see and do in Bruges include:

Choco Story (10 minute walk)
Dedicated to that other great Belgian tradition, this attraction traces the story of chocolate from the times of the Maya and Aztecs to modern manufacturing processes. A visit includes chocolate-making demonstrations and a shop in which to indulge the tastebuds.

De Halve Maan Brewery (10 minute walk)
Belgium is renowned for its beer, and this family brewery (the name means 'Half Moon') has been producing a range of traditionally made tipples here since 1856. The only brewery left in the Old Town, it offers multilingual tours daily, which culminate in a free pint.

Salvador Dali (13 minute walk)
This superb little gallery under the Belfry Tower has fantastic collection of paintings, drawings and sculptures from the legendary surrealist. The gallery's Dali-inspired decor is a fitting space for this eclectic collection of Salvador Dali originals.

Belfry Museum (12 minute walk)
An absolute must for visitors to Bruges - a climb to the top of the 83m-high (272ft) tower, where your efforts will be rewarded with a stunning panorama of the city and surrounding countryside.

Church of our Lady (13 minute walk)
After the iconic Belfry Tower, the 122m-high (400ft) Church of Our Lady is the most imposing building in Bruges - and one of the most beautiful. Inside this epic church, visitors can admire an incredible collection of art including Michelangelo's world-famous Madonna and Child, as well as the tombs of Mary of Burgundy and Charles the Bold.

Christmas Market

Bruges' magical Christmas Market is running between 24th November - 1st January.

Bruges is home to a fantastic Christmas market with a great selection of stalls heaving with traditional souvenirs and eateries who's aromas will leave your mouth watering...this is sure to get you into the festive spirit!Don't miss the Christmas markets for a magical festive atmosphere! Stalls can found on the Market Square and on Simon Stevinplein.  There is also an ice rink which is surrounded by twinkling Christmas trees.

EurostarNEW: Eurostar - Effortless travel from city centre to city centre.
Set off from London St Pancras International and arrive in Brussels-Midi in just 2 hours via high-speed train.Your Eurostar ticket is valid for the local train from Brussels Midi to Bruges, usually running twice an hour, journey-time 50-60 mins. Make your way upstairs from the Eurostar arrivals to the main concourse and follow signs for Brugge-Oostende-Knokke-Blankenberge departures. Here you can check the departure boards for the next train stopping at Bruges.

Eurostar travel is included to Bruges Via Brussels Midi.

Luggage Allowance: 2 large suitcases and 1 small suitcase

Outbound: Departure between 06:00 - 13:00, Arrival between 10:00 - 16:30
Inbound: Departure between 14:00 - 21:00, Arrival between 16:00 - 23:00

Once the booking process is complete, you will receive an automatic confirmation email from Voyage Prive detailing your chosen travel arrangements.

Your official booking confirmation issued by the Tour Operator will follow within 5 days.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.

Generally, travel documents are sent via email however, in some cases they will be sent by post.

Please do make sure that you add Voyage Privé to your ‘Safe Senders’ list and check your ‘Junk mail’ regularly for your travel documents.
