Your Itinerary in Detail —
Day 1-3
Day 1: Upon arrival at Noi Bai airport, you will be met by our driver and private car, transfer to your hotel in the city centre. You will have some free time to relax after a long journey and adjust to jet lag.
Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy some free time to discover the city on your own or choose the alternative Hanoi city tours with a private English-speaking guide.

Day 3: After breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up and drive you to Ninh Binh (Ha Long Bay). You will arrive in Ninh Binh after about a 2-hour drive. You will drive along the beautiful country road to visit the Bich Dong cave, which was named by a king as "the second most beautiful cave in Vietnam". Climb Ngu Nhac Son (Buddha Palm Mountain), to be enchanted by the marvellous scenery of mountains, rivers and pagodas.
In the afternoon, you will take an unforgettable rowing boat trip among an impressive number of boats and begin to drift with the current. For around 02 hours, as you drift along the calm, clear Ngo Dong River, you will see an immense carpet of rice fields turning a magnificent yellow (if your trip takes place during the rice season in May and June) and unforgettable scenery.
Next, stroll up to the Thai Vi temple, which was not only a base of resistance for the Dai Viet troops against the Mongols in the 13th century but also a revolutionary base during the resistance against French colonialism. Today, the relic is a venue for cultural and religious activities and wonderful festivals full of national identity.

Day 4-5
Day 4: This morning, you will take the road to the Pu Luong nature reserve.
You will arrive in Pu Luong after approximately 3h30 on the road.
In the afternoon, you will explore the small paths to reach four picturesque villages, Leo, Mo, Chu and Danh. Along the way, you will enjoy the scenery of rice terraces, villages, wild fields, ponds, streams and mountains.
Pick-up by your driver and return to your hotel for the night.

Day 5: After breakfast, begin the day by discovering the village of Kho Muong inhabited by the Thai ethnic group. You will hike to the most remote village of Pu Luong nestled in the valley, surrounded by limestone mountains and magnificent terraced rice fields. Get your camera ready to capture the breathtaking scenery of the rice terraces and meet the locals en route.
In the afternoon, continue your day by descending into the superb valley through spectacular rice fields. You will walk along forest paths and cassava fields to reach the village of Uoi, a beautiful village home to another group of Thais who still preserve their straw-roofed houses. You will then hike to the village of Lan Ngoai before returning to your accommodation. On the way, you will have the opportunity to chat with the local villagers and learn about their traditional customs and culture.

Day 6-9
Day 6: After, head to Eo Ken, inhabited by the Muong ethnic group. You will have the opportunity to visit a Muong family in this village and discover their life and authentic customs. The trek continues through picturesque landscapes.
You will then continue on to Mai Chau. You will explore the villages by bicycle (optional) or on foot along the paths and concrete tracks. Let yourself be seduced by the magnificent scenes painted in perfect harmony by villages, rice fields, mountains and streams. Don't miss the chance to talk to the friendly locals, who will be delighted to welcome you into their homes for a cup of tea.
In the afternoon, take the road to Hanoi. On the way, you will stop at the Thung Khe pass where you will have a panoramic view of the magnificent valley. You will arrive in Hanoi in the late afternoon.

Day 7: After breakfast, the boat company's shared shuttle driver will pick you up from your hotel and you'll set off for Ha Long Bay - where thousands of spectacular limestone islets and caves rise from the clear emerald Gulf of Tonkin. You will arrive at the port after approximately two hours' drive, where you will check in. Check in for your cruise, while enjoying a welcome drink, safety briefing and cabin check-in.
Enjoy lunch on board as you sail past the famous sites of Ba Hang fishing village, Đinh Hương island, Chó Đá islet, Gà Chọi islet... Cruises stop at Bồ Nâu cave, the central area of the World Natural Heritage. Transfer by tender to Surprise Cave - one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay.
Leaving Surprise Cave, you will have the tender transfer to Titov Island was named by Uncle Ho, after Gherman Stepanovich Titov - the Soviet astronaut who visited in 1962 Enjoy swimming, relaxing on the beach or climb the Rock steps to the top of the Island. At the top of the mountain, you can see a magical corner of Halong Bay...
Relax, enjoy the sunset on the terrace and a Vietnamese cooking demonstration.

Day 8: Early in the morning, enjoy Tai Chi instructions on the terrace in 30 minutes while sailing to the Luồn cave. After breakfast, you will take a guided tour to visit Luồn Cave - one of the beautifully shaped open caves on the endemic vegetation of Halong Bay. Visit Luồn Cave aboard a traditionally woven boat (bamboo) rowed by a local boatman.
Then return to the cruise, relax and check out of the cabin. Finally, the cruise disembarks at Tuan Chau International Port. Transfer by dinghy to Tuan Chau harbour and disembark. Your driver will pick you up and drive you to Hanoi.

Day 9: After breakfast, enjoy some free time before transfer to the airport for the return flight or the flight to Hue for the extension.

Day 10: After breakfast, enjoy some free time to discover the city at your own pace or choose the optional visit to the Mekong Delta (Cai Be - Vinh Long).
