Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi
Touch down in Hanoi, an ancient capital of nearly 1000 years old. A helpful guide will meet you at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to your comfortable hotel in the city centre. Please note: rooms are available from 2pm. Early check-in is excluded.
Night in Hanoi.
DAY 2: HANOI
Explore the charming city of Hanoi, famed for it its yellow ochre colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards, and scenic lakes. Visit the complex dedicated to Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder, and admire the One Pillar Pagoda, whose origins date back to birth of the city.
Continue to the Tran Quoc pagoda, Hanoi’s oldest pagoda, located on a small island of West Lake. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, and walk the narrow streets and maze of back alleys in the Old Quarter. Sample local specialities, such as pho or egg coffee. Please note: Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays, Fridays and every afternoon.

DAY 3: HANOI - TU LE
Depart for a scenic drive northwest to the charming province of Yen Baim, where locals live amongst the lush rice terraces curving up the mountains.
Arrive in the small town of Tu Le mid-afternoon, check-in to your accommodation, and pass the rest of the day as you please. Relax at the hotel, or grab a drink with a view over the endless valleys of Tu Le.

Day 4: Tu Le - Mu Cang Chai
Wake up and breathe in the fresh morning air of this idyllic mountainside location. Explore the local area, where great mountains are painted with verdant forest and vast terraced rice fields.
Pause at the Khau Pha Pass, 30km of winding roads carved into the mountains, for spectacular panoramic views over northern Vietnam.
Arrive at La Pan Tan village and observe the daily life of this traditional culture. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where locals farm salmon that thrive in this cooler climate.
In the afternoon, take a short drive to Lim Mong, a charming village with gentle treks curving up into the mountains, past picturesque waterfalls and more spacious rice fields.
Please note: hiking distances will be between 8 and 10km on mixed dirt trails and paved road. An alternative motorbike taxi can be arranged for anyone who can't hike.

DAY 5: TU LE – HANOI
Day 8: Hoi An
Enjoy a day exploring the city.

DAY 9: HOI AN
Continue exploring the city, head out on a bike, or hop on the bus to An Bang beach, resting 5km from the city centre. Choose an optional excursion (additional cost) to explore the area further.
Optional Hoi An Extension
DAY 10 & 11: HOI AN
Enjoy a couple of days exploring the city, and on day 11 take advantage of a complimentary 30-minute foot massage and afternoon tea at the hotel.

DAY 12: HOI AN (B)
Continue exploring the city, head out on a bike, or hop on the bus to An Bang beach, resting 5km from the city centre. Choose an optional excursion (additional cost) to explore the area further.
Optional excursion 3: Ba Na Hill and Golden Bridge (half day, lunch included, min. 2 people)
Duration: 8am - 2.30pm
Includes: transport, English-speaking guide, entrance fee, round-trip cable car, lunch, bottle of mineral water
Drive to Ba Na Hill, a scenic mountain area with plenty of panoramic vistas. Arrive at Ba Na Hills cable car station, and ride through the air as you admire incredible views of the landscape. Visit the iconic Golden Bridge, supported by a pair of giant hands jutting out of the mountain.

DAY 13: HOI AN - DA NANG - HO CHI MINH

DAY 15: DEPART HO CHI MINH
