Your itinerary in detail

Vancouver

Choose the length of stay that best suits your plans. Choose to stay 3, 4, 5 or 6 nights in Vancouver.

On arrival at Vancouver airport, make your way downtown to your hotel. You’ll be based at the Sheraton Centre Wall 4*, located perfectly in the city centre for easy exploration. Expect an elegant, comfortable stay with quality service, in one of Canada’s most striking cities. Vancouver, framed by ocean and mountains, is a cosmopolitan, modern city where Indigenous, Asian, and English influences come together. Wander through Stanley Park, Chinatown, the historic streets of Gastown, or shop along Robson Street.

Your trip includes a Hop-On Hop-Off bus ticket, giving you the freedom to explore Vancouver at your own pace, with multiple stops and French audio available. Stroll the seawall around Stanley Park - a 10 km waterfront path with sweeping views of mountains, ocean, and forest. While you’re there, visit the world-class Vancouver Aquarium, one of North America’s top five.

For an added thrill, choose the FlyOver Canada experience (optional, with a supplement). This immersive ride takes you across the country’s most spectacular landscapes - soaring over tundra, skimming past Atlantic schooners, and diving into Canada’s vast wilderness. Located at Canada Place, FlyOver offers a new perspective on the country’s beauty.

Another must-see is Grouse Mountain. Many visitors take on the Grouse Grind hiking trail - famously nicknamed “Mother Nature’s Stairmaster” - but you can also opt for the scenic aerial tram. The ride carries up to 100 passengers and offers panoramic views across Vancouver’s Lower Mainland.

Just north of the city, test your nerves on the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Spanning a canyon 70 metres below, this swaying walkway takes you deep into lush coastal rainforest.

Whistler is also within easy reach (optional, with a supplement). Set in the Coast Mountains, this world-famous resort town offers year-round adventure. Take the Sea to Sky Gondola for dramatic views over Howe Sound, then explore Whistler village’s mix of cafés and boutiques before heading back to Vancouver.

Whitehorse

Choose the length of stay that best suits your plans. Choose to stay 3 or 4 nights in Vancouver.

On day 4, 5, 6 or 7 of your trip (depending on the itinerary chosen), make your way to Vancouver Airport for your included domestic flight to Whitehorse. On arrival, you’ll be transferred to Best Western Gold Rush Inn 3*, set in the centre of Whitehorse. The hotel has a rustic character with a warm Yukon atmosphere, while offering modern comfort and easy access to shops, restaurants, and the riverfront.

The Yukon’s capital is small in size but surrounded by dramatic wilderness. Mountains, boreal forest, and the Yukon River shape the landscape. While the Northern Lights are the highlight, Whitehorse itself offers a glimpse of life in Canada’s far north.

After dinner at leisure, meet your guide at 9.30pm for your first Northern Lights outing. A heated cabin or tent, with hot drinks and snacks, makes the experience even more comfortable. Return to the hotel around 2am.

Day 2: Exploring Whitehorse

At 10.30am, take part in a guided city tour (included), passing Main Street, the old station, Yukon River trails, and local neighbourhoods. In the afternoon, optional activities are available (not included, with a supplement): snowmobiling, dog sledding, or snowshoeing. In the evening, departure is at 9.30pm for the Northern Lights viewing. Return to the hotel at 2am.

Day 3: Outdoor Experiences

The morning is free for you to explore as you please, with time in the afternoon to try more immersive winter activities (not included, with a supplement):

  • Dog sledding: Drive your own team through snowy trails on a 3–4 hour adventure, either solo or in pairs.

  • Snowmobiling: A full day (7–8 hours) exploring untouched northern landscapes by snowmobile - a mix of freedom and adrenaline.

  • Wildlife viewing (included): Encounter some of the Yukon’s iconic animals - elk, mountain goats, and bison - in their natural surroundings.

Evening Northern Lights excursion at 9.30pm. Return at 2am. Overnight in Whitehorse.

Day 4: Exploring

With an extra day, you can soak up more of the Yukon atmosphere. Go winter hiking at Miles Canyon or Fish Lake, shop for local crafts, or take time to wander through the decorated streets of Whitehorse. End the day in the natural hot springs at Takhini, surrounded by snow.

On day 7, 8, 9 or 10 (depending on your itinerary), transfer to the airport for your return journey.

Welcome to Seattle

Welcome to Seattle, a city where cutting-edge innovation meets rugged natural beauty. Surrounded by water, evergreen forests, and mountain peaks, this Pacific Northwest hub is as much about outdoor adventure as it is about vibrant urban energy. Whether you’re here for coffee, culture, or the call of the wild, Seattle has a way of drawing you in.

  • Exploring Chihuly Garden and Glass for dazzling blown-glass art
  • Catching a ferry across Puget Sound for sweeping views of the city skyline

Culinary scene

Seattle’s culinary scene is defined by its love of fresh, local ingredients. Wild salmon, Dungeness crab, and Pacific oysters star on menus, while food trucks dish up inventive global flavours. Of course, no trip is complete without a cup of coffee. Seattle is the birthplace of Starbucks and remains one of the best places in the world for a carefully crafted brew.

Good to know:

Seattle’s weather can be famously drizzly, so pack a light rain jacket and comfortable shoes. The city is well-connected by light rail, buses, and ferries, making it simple to explore both the urban core and its natural surroundings.

Vancouver

Vancouver is a city where the seamless blend of urban sophistication and natural beauty creates a unique atmosphere. Nestled between the Pacific Ocean and the towering Coast Mountains, it offers a perfect balance of outdoor adventure and vibrant cultural life. With its historic neighbourhoods, modern architecture, and thriving arts scene, Vancouver invites you to immerse yourself in its lively rhythm.

Must-sees:

  • Stanley Park, a vast urban oasis offering stunning views, walking trails, and scenic gardens.
  • Granville Island, home to a bustling public market, artisan galleries, and waterfront restaurants.
  • Capilano Suspension Bridge Park, where nature meets adrenaline amid ancient trees and dramatic landscapes.

Culinary culture:

Vancouver is a culinary haven, celebrated for its multicultural food scene. The city’s dining options are as diverse as its residents, with a particular focus on fresh, sustainable seafood. Don’t miss the opportunity to taste Pacific salmon, expertly prepared in local eateries, or explore the thriving Asian food culture. From seafood markets to chic fusion restaurants, Vancouver’s culinary offering reflects the city’s cosmopolitan identity.

Dive deeper:

For a more immersive experience, venture beyond the main tourist spots. Explore the historic neighbourhood of Gastown, with its cobbled streets and independent boutiques, or visit Museum of Anthropology to discover the indigenous art and culture of British Columbia. Vancouver’s arts scene extends beyond museums, with street art, music festivals, and local theatres providing an exciting backdrop.

Good to know:

The local currency is the Canadian dollar (CAD), and the city enjoys a mild climate, with rainy winters and pleasant summers. Vancouver is well-connected by public transport, including buses, trains, and ferries, making it easy to explore. While summer (June to August) is the peak season, visitors in spring or autumn will enjoy fewer crowds and comfortable weather.
