Your destinations —
Los Angeles
The City of Angels is truly a unique city. You likely to either love it or hate it, but either way, it is a city you must visit in order to make up your mind. In every neighbourhood, from the skyscrapers of Downtown LA to the historic buildings of El Pueblo, Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hills, you will be transported to a scene of your favourite films.
A visit to Los Angeles wouldn't be the same without a trip to Hollywood. Walk in the footsteps of your favourite Actor or Singer and look for their stars on the famous Walk of Fame. For even more magic, be sure to visit Universal Studios, a huge theme park inspired by the most famous films.
Finish your day with a sunset in Venice Beach, where food trucks offer a wide range of local specialities.
Las Vegas
There’s nothing quite like the first time you see the Las Vegas strip appear on the horizon, particularly after a flight across the desolate, and seemingly never-ending plains of the surrounding desert. Possibly the world's most famous 'oasis', Las Vegas is globally synonymous with glamorous casinos, rock-star luxury, a skyline of spectacular hotels, dazzling lights and the promise of indulgence at every corner. Sin City runs on gambling, heavy tourism and a knowledge that the majority of visitors are there to spend big for the chance of winning even bigger, and as a result, no effort has been spared to ensure that first-time tourists in Vegas will be blown away by 24-hour excess and opulence from the moment they arrive.
Whether you're keen to explore the vast array of A-Lister concerts and awe-inspiring stage shows, or hoping to dine at all-American and International restaurants serving everything from hearty breakfasts to Michelin-quality cuisine, Las Vegas promises it all. From shopping till you drop at Miracle Mile, to watching the sun set across the mountains as the legendary fountains dance infront of the Bellagio, this city is like nowhere else on earth, and is a true bucketlist destination.
San Francisco
If you are going to San Francisco, you don't need to wear flowers in your hair, but you will surely meet some gentle people there and will have so much to see and do, you may consider extending your trip.
A magical city bursting with diverse neighbourhoods, grand-dame Victorian houses of Nob Hill, cable cars zipping down steep hills and interesting museums. Before heading out to explore, be sure to dress in layers, as the city's weather is very unpredictable - even on the sunniest of the days, a chilly blanket of fog can roll through at any moment!
Make your holiday unforgettable and visit the iconic Pier 39 where you can watch the famous sea lions sun bathe. Walk or catch a ride up to Coit Tower and take in the panoramic views of San Francisco. Stop at the Ghiradelli Square for some chocolates (great souvenir idea). Take a ferry to Alcatraz Island and learn the history of this infamous prison that once held Al Capone and George 'Machine Gun' Kelly (we recommend booking your tickets in advance).
Other unmissable places to see are: the crooked Lombard Street, Haight & Ashbury with a stop at 710 Ashbury to see where the Grateful Dead band once lived, the Painted Ladies, the most photographed houses in San Francisco, Dolores Park, a great place to have a picnic to beautiful views of San Francisco's skyline and Chinatown, a busy area of the city that showcases a unique architecture.
