DAY 1 & 2: LOS ANGELES 

Your journey begins in Los Angeles, "the City of Angels", known for its endless sunshine, Hollywood glamour, and buzzing coastal energy. Upon arrival at Los Angeles International Airport, you'll collect your car and embark on a two-day adventure through the iconic highlights of Los Angeles. 

Explore famous landmarks like the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the iconic Griffith Observatory, and the stunning Santa Monica Pier. Discover diverse neighbourhoods filled with vibrant street art, world-class dining, and trendy boutiques that capture the city’s unique spirit.

DAY 3: LAGHLIN

Head to the southernmost edge of Nevada, at the crossroads of three states. There, you'll find Laphlin, a town that once consisted of only a motel and a bar catering to miners but has since developed into a major tourist destination. Famous for its lively casinos and exciting water sports along the Colorado River, Laphlin offers an authentic taste of the Western spirit.

DAY 4: GRAND CANYON 

Start your day early to visit one of the most breathtaking natural wonders in the world: the Grand Canyon. Walk along the South Rim and take in the vast expanse of sculpted rock formations, shifting colours, and dramatic shadows, shaped over millions of years by wind and water erosion. Far below, the Colorado River winds its way more than a mile beneath the canyon’s edge. This unforgettable landscape is sure to be one of the highlights of your trip.

Spend the day exploring the remarkable natural wonders surrounding the town of Page. Begin with Lake Powell, a vast, shimmering reservoir created by the damming of the Colorado River, set against a dramatic desert backdrop. Then, marvel at the otherworldly beauty of Antelope Canyon, renowned for its narrow passageways, sculpted sandstone walls and mesmerising light beams.

Continue your journey with a visit to Horseshoe Bend, where the Colorado River has carved a striking horseshoe-shaped curve into the landscape. From the clifftop viewpoint, perched at around 4,200 feet above sea level, you can gaze down at the river some 1,000 feet below, a truly awe-inspiring sight.

DAY 6: MONUMENT VALLEY 

Drive along the scenic Desert View Drive, a picturesque route that runs along the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, offering breathtaking vistas at every turn.  Make a stop at the Desert View Watchtower, a striking stone structure inspired by ancient Puebloan watchtowers. Inside, you'll find murals by Hopi artist Frank Kabotie, and from the top, enjoy panoramic views over the canyon, the Colorado River, and the vast desert beyond.

Continue your trip to Monument Valley, where towering dark red hills rise dramatically from the desert floor. This iconic landscape, featured in countless Western films, offers an unforgettable glimpse into the cinematic spirit of the American Southwest.

DAY 7 - 8: MOAB

Spend two days in Moab, a vibrant town set between two spectacular national parks. Arches National Park is known for its towering red rock formations and natural stone arches, while Canyonlands offers dramatic views of mesas and buttes carved by the Green and Colorado Rivers.

Explore traces of ancient history in the area, from Native American rock art to dinosaur tracks at sites like Bull Canyon Overlook and Copper Ridge.

Your journey will take you to Bryce Canyon, passing through the beautiful landscapes of Dixie National Forest.  Along the way, stop by Kanab, known by locals as "Little Hollywood", famous for its legacy as a filming location for classic Westerns and television series such as Daniel Boone, Gunsmoke, and The Lone Ranger. 

Bryce Canyon, one of the most captivating natural parks of Utah, will be your next destination. First explored by Mormon settlers in the 19th century, its extraordinary pink cliffs reveal ever-changing shapes and colours that shift beautifully from dawn to dusk.

DAY 10: ZION 

Today, you'll visit one of the oldest national parks in Utah. Zion National Park is sure to impress you with its cathedral-shaped rock formations and diverse plant and animal life. Hike along unique trails and, in the evening, take time to enjoy Springfield's lively nightlife.

DAY 11 - 12: LAS VEGAS

The legendary city of Las Vegas awaits you for two days of luxury and entertainment at its finest. Towering casinos, spectacular shows, and lavish hotels create a dazzling oasis in the heart of Nevada’s desert. Whether you’re trying your luck at the tables or exploring world-class dining and nightlife, Las Vegas promises an unforgettable experience.

DAY 13 - 14: LOS ANGELES - DEPARTURE

Spend the last full day of your trip in Los Angeles, soaking up the sun in Santa Monica or unwinding in Venice Beach. Explore local shops, pick up last-minute souvenirs and finish the day by marvelling at a stunning sunset after a hike to the Hollywood sign. 

The following day, make your way to the Los Angeles International Airport to return your car and take with you lasting memories of this western escape.
