Your Itinerary In Detail —
Day 1 : Arrive in Las Vegas
Arrive in fabulous Las Vegas and head to your hotel for your first night in the states! Stroll down Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as 'the strip,' and take in the sights and sounds of the wondrous displays on every corner. Stop by famous hotels like Caesars Palace, The Venetian and Paris for a spot of luxury shopping, and make sure not to miss the nightly fountain show at the Bellagio Hotel! From glamourous live shows to the excitement of casinos, the action never stops from morning to night.
DAY 2 : LAS VEGAS - GRAND CANYON (APPROX. 40KM)
Leave Las Vegas and head out to your first stop on your tour: the Grand Canyon. Known as one of the Natural Wonders of the World, these great ravines were carved out by the Colorado River over vast geological spans of time, leaving overwhelming drops and brilliant colours. The South Rim of the canyon has an assortment of viewing areas that can be reached by car, and guided hikes are available. Rafting trips along the river are also a spectacular way to enjoy the canyon.
DAY 3 : GRAND CANYON - PAGE - LAKE POWELL (APPROX. 212 KM)
Wake early on day three of your trip for an unforgetable sight of the sun rising over the Grand Canyon, bathing the vivid orange walls in natural light. Head towards beautiful Lake Powell, a body of deep blue water surrounded by red cliff walls. You may also visit the John Wesley Powell Museum to learn more about the lake, before and after the dam construction.
DAY 4 : PAGE - LAKE POWELL
Take today to visit magnificent Rainbow Bridge, the largest natural bridge in the world formed by the steady erosion of sandstone from water flowing down from Navajo Mountain. It can be reached by boat, on foot, or on horseback, and guided boat tours leave daily.
Day 5 : Page - Lake Powell - Monument Valley - Cortez/ Mesa Verde (approx. 400km)
Leave Lake Powell and head to the next stop on your road trip: Monument Valley. This barren landscape has been the setting for countless Western movies because of its unique sandstone formations and spires that rise up to the sky. Located on the north and central parts of the Navajo Reservation, some of these native people still inhabit this land. The Navajo have assumed the role of protector of these ruins.
DAY 6 : CORTEZ - MESA VERDE NATIONAL PARK - DURANGO (APPROX. 73 KM)
Take the morning to visit Mesa Verde National Park, home to over 4000 archeological sites and 600 cliff dwellings of the ancient Anasazi people! Continue on to Durango, a railroad town with an authentic old west feel. Admire the handsome Strater Hotel on Main Avenue, and the sites of saloons and other businesses of the late 1800s. Why not see a live Western stage show at one of the local ranches?
DAY 7 : DURANGO
Take the day to continue exploring Durango and its cowboy history and culture and take a ride back through time on a historic coal-fired, steam-powered locomotive to the old mining town of Silverton, Colorado, a National Historic Landmark. Try horseback riding at one of the local ranches, or take a trip deep into old gold and silver mines. Hiking, rafting and fishing are also a great way to spend the day, or relax at one of the local hot springs!
DAY 8 : DURANGO - CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK - MOAB (APPROX. 369 KM)
Leave Durango and drive toward Canyonlands National Park, known for its spectacular rock formations and bright colours. Visit The Needles district of the park, the most vivid section, and the more adventurous can hike 1,500 feet to Needle Point for breathtaking views! Continue on to Moab for a two night stay.
Day 9 : Moab - Arches National Park
Rise and shine ready for a visit to Arches National Park, home to over 2,000 natural freestanding sandstone arches. The number varies from day to day, as old arches crumble and new ones form! Keep your eyes open for desert bighorn sheep, and visit the Aztec Ruins National Monument. In the afternoon take a drive to Dead Horse Point State Park, where a peninsula of stone surrounded by steep cliffs overlooks many miles of canyon erosion from its height of 6,000 feet above sea level.
DAY 10 : MOAB - CAPITOL REEF NATIONAL PARK - KODACHROME BASIN - BRYCE CANYON (APPROX. 468 KM)
Leave Moab behind to explore more amazing natural scenery. Continue to Capitol Reef National Park, named after a line of white domes and cliffs of Navajo Sandstone, each of which looks like the United States Capitol building. Hike one of the many scenic trails, or try horseback riding or a driving tour. In the afternoon drive through Kodachrome Basin State Park, where visitors can find spectacular sandstone chimneys and unique desert beauty. Continue on to Bryce Canyon for a two night stay.
DAY 11 : BRYCE CANYON
Head out to Bryce Canyon National Park, where spires of rock called 'hoodoos' reflect light at different times of day, changing the colourful scenery of the park. Consider a drive to Rainbow Point where, from some of the overlooks, you can see more than 100 miles on a clear day.
DAY 12 : BRYCE CANYON - ZION NATIONAL PARK - LAS VEGAS (APPROX. 413 KM)
As you drive into Zion National Park you'll be greeted by gigantic sandstone monoliths in what is known as a hiker’s paradise. Winding trails run along the Virgin River, and paved pathways are perfect for explorers of all skill levels. There is a complimentary shuttle system that runs throughout the park, ideal for visiting the Zion’s other major attractions such as the Emerald Pools, Weeping Rock and Angels Landing. Continue on to Las Vegas for a final overnight stay.
DAY 13 : LAS VEGAS
Enjoy one final American breakfast of pancakes or eggs cooked sunny side up, and leave for Las Vegas International Airport with a suitcase full of souvenirs and amazing memories of your road trip through the USA.

Your Destinations —
Las Vegas
There’s nothing quite like the first time you see the Las Vegas strip appear on the horizon, particularly after a flight across the desolate, and seemingly never-ending plains of the surrounding desert. Possibly the world's most famous 'oasis', Las Vegas is globally synonymous with glamorous casinos, rock-star luxury, a skyline of spectacular hotels, dazzling lights and the promise of indulgence at every corner. Sin City runs on gambling, heavy tourism and a knowledge that the majority of visitors are there to spend big for the chance of winning even bigger, and as a result, no effort has been spared to ensure that first-time tourists in Vegas will be blown away by 24-hour excess and opulence from the moment they arrive.
Whether you're keen to explore the vast array of A-Lister concerts and awe-inspiring stage shows, or hoping to dine at all-American and International restaurants serving everything from hearty breakfasts to Michelin-quality cuisine, Las Vegas promises it all. From shopping till you drop at Miracle Mile, to watching the sun set across the mountains as the legendary fountains dance infront of the Bellagio, this city is like nowhere else on earth, and is a true bucketlist destination.
