This picturesque cathedral city is a pleasing collection of rickety timber houses and cobbled streets that exist in the shadow of the grand Worcester Cathedral. Part of the beauty of Worcester lies in aimlessly roaming the streets and alleys, making chance findings from one turn to the next. That said there are a number of must-see sights whose discovery should not be left to chance so take a stroll down Friar Street where stylish boutiques and high street giants are housed amongst traditional Tudor houses and a medieval townhouse.
Ludlow Castle - Approx. 45min / 40km
As historic market towns go this is arguably the finest with its numerous antique shops, wealth of period buildings and reputation for excellent food! However, the highlight of this Shropshire town is undeniably the dramatic medieval Ludlow Castle with is spectacular view & fascinating and varied history.
Stratford-Upon-Avon - Approx. 1hr / 33km
A day trip to Stratford-Upon-Avon is a charming day in a market town with over 800 years of history which extends beyond that of the famous bard all set along the pretty Avon River.

This offer is based on a bed and breakfast stay.
Breakfast is served at 9am in the dining room. Your day starts with a sumptuous breakfast provided each morning which includes homemade bread and locally sourced produce.
For the afternoon or evening, sit happily in the Billiard Room by a roaring fire!
Your Time —
Make use of the onsite tennis court, working up an appetite for a hearty pub lunch, or set aside some 'me time' and treat yourself to a manicure at the local spa.
The friendly concierge service can arrange all manner of excursions and are full of advice on what to do in the local area, from bicycle rides to luxury limousines to take you on a special theatre trip.

From M5 Junction 5
1.Exit M5 at junction 5, take the A38 exit to Droitwich.
2.At the roundabout, take the 4th exit onto A38. Go through 2 roundabouts.
3.Take the slip road to Ombersley/A4133.
4.At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A4133. Go through 2 roundabouts.
5.Turn right onto A443.
6.Take the 1st left toward Ockeridge Lane.
7.Continue straight onto Ockeridge Lane and continue to Wichenford.
8.In Wichenford turn right onto Venn Lane.
9.At the “T” junction turn left onto B4204. 10.After approx 1/2 a mile and at the end of the long left hand bend, follow the road round, Laughern Hill is on your right. You will see 2 large white gates with a ‘Laughern Hill’ stone sign on the verge. Press buzzer to main House.
From M5 Junction 7
1.Exit the M5 at junction 7.
2.At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto A44 and go through 2 roundabouts.
3.Continue to follow A44 dual carriage way which will become a single carriage way at the last roundabout. Continue along the A44 single carriageway for approx 1/2 a mile and in Crown East turn right.
4.After 1 mile enter Lower Broadheath and at the crossroads turn right. Continue approx 1 mile and at the ‘T’ junction turn left onto the Martley Road B4202.
5.Drive past Cob Fisheries on your left, carry on for 1 minute and Laughern Hill is on your left, 2 large white gates with a ‘Laughern Hill’ stone sign on the verge. Press buzzer to main House
